There is a whole stretch of Bible history that Catholics conveniently skip over, between the apostles and the later church state alliance under Constantine. Facts. Not one apostle knew Catholicism, lowercase c or uppercase C. They were disciples of Christ. They were Jewish believers first. Later, Scripture says the disciples were called Christians at Antioch [Acts 11:26]. That is the Bible name. Christian, not Catholic, not Roman Catholic. This small c Catholic and capital C Catholic argument is a later man made designation being dragged backward into the Bible. After Antioch, even Gentile believers were called Christians, not Catholics. Think about that. Peter was not Catholic. If all the Apostles became Catholic, and we know that is preposterous, Peter would have been the hold-out. God had to give Peter a vision because Peter was still struggling with receiving Gentiles into the church [Acts 10:9–16, 28]. Paul later rebuked Peter over that same kind of issue [Galatians 2:11–14]. It was Paul, not Peter, who was specifically called the apostle to the Gentiles [Romans 11:13]. Peter put pagan Rome on blast, shortly before he was slaughtered by them. Most likely referring to Rome, He warned that false teachers would rise, bringing in destructive teachings while still sounding religious [2 Peter 2:1]. Moreover, he added that deception would not only come from outside the church. It would grow inside too. When you hear someone say, “Our church is old, therefore it must be true,” age does not prove truth. Scripture proves truth. False doctrine started creeping in while the apostles were still alive. But I digress. The earliest church was not Catholic. It was Bible believing, Sabbath rooted, Christ following, and built on the prophets, the apostles, and Jesus Christ Himself, not Rome [Ephesians 2:20]. Ignore the brainwashing, indoctrination, falsehoods coming out of Catholicism.

There is no need for guessing. Revelation 13 does not say the mark is a barcode, nano tech, or a medical shot. It says: “And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark…” Revelation 13:16 Then it tells us what the issue is: “And they WORSHIPPED the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast…” Revelation 13:4 Then it says: “And all that dwell upon the earth shall WORSHIP him…” Revelation 13:8. Furthermore, it notes: “And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth… to WORSHIP the first beast…” Revelation 13:12 Finally: “If any man WORSHIP the beast and his image, and receive his mark…” Revelation 14:9 Revelation says worship five times before people start yelling barcode, nano tech, and UPC. The Bible already defined the battlefield. People just keep dragging it somewhere else.

Jesus did not lie. You misunderstood Him. Jesus built His church on truth, not on Rome. Peter confessed that Jesus is the Christ. That confession is the rock. Matthew 16 does not say Peter became pope. It does not say Rome rules the church. It does not say follow the Vatican. You added all of that.

At the end of season presser? Murphy sure loves hearing himself talk. He's become annoying. The letter that he wrote to the team and acted like it was from Bob Uecker is one of the lamest things I've ever seen.

I get what Pat was trying to do, just poorly executed and the social media team or the video should have at least mentioned that it was a letter he wrote instead of making it seem like Ueck actually did. It doesn’t make Murph a bad person
