One of experimental music's most cutting-edge producers is now one of this era's defining stars. Where does Arca go next?

for every false icon— you knew better / beyond the hurt that seared through us / there would be no more remorse
the pleading subsided / and you will know a place beyond the promises
/ hold it all until lilith blooms / and so your courage is the vision that shaped your faith
thank you mutants for tuning in
it’s been 5 years since kick
and i had so much growing to do
we were ambitious because i wanted to go all out
i know with more scale i can serve you even more fierce and have more control to prevent technical difficulties . i know that scale comes with industry but my heart told me to go experimental this era. it’s for us, even if it’s raw , specially when it’s vulnerable and complicated . above all , it’s to release emotions , energy , even repressed fury and sorrow - so as to allow the light to shine in. i love you mutants , it’s all for you

my new album XXXXX is out friday july 31st
holy though it seldom shows / you dance through the fire / eyes closed / breath in the flames with a smile / bathed in light
when you awaken from the nightmare you are reborn / only death knows / how real your love is
and to those who doubted your purity / you show compassion with no fear / the end is just the beginning / so stretch those wings wide, bitch / ascend / no end
tune into the livestream thursday 23rd july at 21.30 CEST
