every time I see that screenshot of the ao3 tos it's bc some incredibly patient highly qualified lawyer on here is going out of their way to explain the law to ppl only for them to pull out that screenshot and tell the literal legal professional talking to them that they're wrong
I can't believe I love in a world where fic writers need explained to them that what they're doing is one hundred percent illegal and that we are and always have been one OTW user trying to sue for copyright infringement on their fanwork away from bringing this whole show down
