I just closed Curser, Antigravity IDE and VS Code hopefully for the last time (at least for vibing). I couldn't find an IDE that used my local LLMs and giving me the work flow I wanted, so I built my own. Now my Mac Studio is cooking.

In 2025, the Apple App Store had 600,000 new apps. In the first half of 2026 there have been 560,000 new apps and it’s on track to have well over 1 million new apps this year. Downloads are up only by 2%. So everyone’s making applications and very few people are downloading them.

Software development is dead. In about 24 hours, I created a Dropbox replacement but it does so much more and it’s custom to my needs. I have it run on three computers and they’re syncing now.

Hard no on this take. *We all* built WordPress into the thing that it is today. What Matt did was trick us all into *thinking* we a building an open source project while he gave away exclusive trademark rights to his company and kept personal ownership of dotorg.
