My world is big and travel has given me the perspective, empathy, and boldness to be a better storyteller, whether through filmmaking or writing. Thank you @halfhalftravel for interviewing me for your story! halfhalftravel.com/blog/ares…
The next future of work buzzword for 2024? FRACTIONAL. It's truly hiring part-time or a more regular consultant, but companies are starting to see the value. They get exactly what they need w/o paying for anything extra. Interested in a fractional content strategist? Let's talk

My friend @attackofthetext built and launched a seltzer brand after giving birth. Ya'll, it is herculean just launching a business, but postpartum? In a competitive category she had to learn from the ground up? That takes serious tenacity and passion! balloonwater.com/
I came. I saw. I looked at every single @Reformation dress on sale in my size today.
As @caitlindewey aptly commented: "...the web is already awash in AI-generated content. Nonsense books clog Amazon’s top ebook lists. Next-gen content farms are spinning up en masse. AI’s work is everywhere … and most of it is bad."

"The idea of simply starting seems to be a challenge for so many people. We get caught up in wondering if we’ll fail and fear others will judge us. We want everything to be perfect before realizing it."
Thank you @canvasrebel for the feature!

I was recently called a "content quarterback"--and I like it. Clients engage in tactics, which is great, but don't have someone leading the overall strategy. Put me in, coach!
Working from home really has given me the best of both worlds. I feel fulfilled in my work and I also feel like I am there for my kid because even though I'm working and he plays with the nanny, he can see me. fortune.com/2023/05/14/flexi…
Ghostwriting: an art & not for the faint of heart. I've also said:
“My author can’t remember squat.”
“My author and I have come to despise each other.”
“I can’t get my author to call me back—is it normal for a ghost to get ghosted?”
Here's what it takes:

Life improvement advice I can get onboard with courtesy of @TheEvilWitches:
“Journal” —> Read celebrity gossip
“Meditate” —> Take a nap
“Be mindful” —> Be mindless
“Be present” —> Leave
“Cultivate a more positive mindset” —> Feel free to be a bigger bitch
“It is also true that we left <the golden age of documentary> three or four years ago and we now live in the corporate age of documentary.”

I'm so sad to hear of the end of @PopUpMag. It was a brilliant, beautiful, inspiring, one-of-a-kind storytelling experience.
Thank you @VoyageLAmag for taking an interest in my work and for the wonderful interview and write-up! I love my clients, helping them to tell their stories, and producing creative and strategic work! voyagela.com/interview/risin…
