russia just struck a children’s arts center in Zaporizhzhia.
They bomb places where children learn, create, and dream.
This is russian "humanitarianism".

I lived through the days when a 3 ETH auction on SR wasn’t enough to get me on the homepage. I also witnessed 30–40 ETH art sales, major collectors, and artists at their peak.
Those who were here to flip and those who were here for the art are known to the artists who lived through it all.
But I don’t think this is the time to look for someone to blame.
We all played a part in shaping this culture. Now, we should be talking about what we can do to rebuild it.
Less blame. More ideas. More action.
The question isn’t who ruined NFT art. It’s what we’re willing to do to move it forward. 🖤
Here I am, speaking as an artist. I’m tired of seeing artists at the bottom of the crypto pyramid, especially when it comes to 1/1 artworks.
The entire ecosystem we’ve built revolves around trading volume, speculation, and market activity rather than culture. You flip an artwork as a “collector,” and you’re rewarded with platform airdrops, points, or incentives. Meanwhile, I can barely name a single meaningful reward system designed for creators that isn’t already a relic of the past.
We’ve built an ecosystem fueled by greed and the anxiety of missing out, where the circulation of art is rewarded more than its creation.
And yes, this includes platforms like the ones you mentioned. We’ve financialized art without cultivating the culture around it.
That’s one of the fundamental problems with this space: artists are left struggling while others continue to generate income from the work they create.
I don’t enjoy watching it either.
ossen, you came into this space making noise, throwing money around, and getting everyone’s attention. Especially that of artists who are struggling in this market, hoping for their next sale.
And now you’re shitting on communities that took years to build.
First it was Apes. Now it’s 6529.
I can’t accept that.
There are countless reasons why 6529 has been great for this space, especially for artists. Beyond the community of collectors and artists it brought together, it gave artists opportunities they might never have had otherwise.
Artists received 50% of sales that often generated far more than their own independent edition drops.
My own card (#77) sold out 500 editions in 47 seconds, generating over 130 ETH in secondary volume. That moment changed my life. And I’m just one of countless artists who benefited from what 6529 built.
You can criticize the project all you want. Nothing is above criticism. But if you’re going to publicly tear down communities that have genuinely changed people’s lives, at least explain what you’re doing better.
Because building something meaningful takes years. Shitting on what others have built takes seconds.
So go ahead. Build something better.
I’ll be waiting.

The GRU hacked into Jared Kushner's iPhone. Dutch military intelligence (MIVD) then recruited a GRU spy who gave them access to the hacked phone. What MIVD discovered was that Kushner had access to two bank accounts --one Azerbaijani, the other Israeli --where Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Emirati ruler Mohammed bin Zayed deposited money. It sounds like a slightly far-fetched episode of "Slow Horses," but it's real. And it proves just how eye-poppingly corrupt this administration was and continues to be as its "special envoy" decides the fate of tens of millions in Europe in the Middle East. Simply incredible reporting by Matthew Cole, drawn from his new book on Kushner. vanityfair.com/story/jared-k…

The Russians tortured 500 people in Bucha.
The Russians tortured children in Bucha.
The Russians tortured dogs in Bucha.
The Russians killed animals in Bucha.
In Bucha, the Russians used military vehicles to hunt people—turning it into a game.
People ran, the Russians fired, they hunted them down, playing games.
And this didn’t just happen in Bucha.
Trump and his mafia gang call this "humanitarian."
What do you call it?
Bucha. It was a genocide, recognized by everyone. They buried hundreds of people. They tortured people. We found the grave. There were, I believe, around 500 people. When we liberated those towns near Kyiv, there emerged this, you know, this kind of hatred for the Russians, right at that moment. Not even at the moment when they started the full-scale war. Back then nobody understood what it really was yet. People understood what this war was and what Putin did personally when we found those mass graves of tortured adults, children. I mean they didn't just kill them, they tortured and killed them.
When we liberated Bucha, I said, bring every journalist here. Don't touch anything, just bring the journalists. The whole world simply has to see this. Imagine finding a mass grave in the U.S. or in Britain, God forbid, with 500 tortured people, adults, kids, dogs, animals shot dead. I mean, they held hunting sprees there from military vehicles. People were running, they were shooting, just hunting, playing games. They literally just played with people, like slavery. So how, after this, can you listen to Putin? And how, after this, can you forgive?
