Now you can follow the ArviZ project also on Mastodon! bayes.club/@ArviZ
Develop a programming language-agnostic API for resampling-based cross-validation to enhance model comparison in Julia's Turing models, incorporating a new reloo function into PosteriorStats.jl. (collab with @sethaxen @arviz_devs, see github.com/arviz-devs/arviz/…) #GSoC

We've put together a survey forms.gle/Wor6iHnp4Ebdg6R36 to gather feedback and insights from our users on a potential dashboard feature for Python ArviZ. Your input would be greatly valued!

Hello everyone! We've put together a survey forms.gle/Wor6iHnp4Ebdg6R36 to gather feedback and insights from @arviz_devs users. Specifically, we're interested to understand your thoughts on a potential dashboard feature for ArviZ. Your input would be greatly valued!

Next up: porting Python ArviZ's library of plotting functions for Plots.jl and @MakiePlots. Contributions encouraged!!

ArviZ.jl is now a pure Julia meta-package for Bayesian analysis! This makes it much easier to install, integrate smoothly with the whole ecosystem, and easily extended. Check out the announcement! @arviz_devs @JuliaLanguage @TuringLang

Check out the ArviZ project website for more info. It's really been amazing to watch it grow, and I think the whole Bayes community is going to be well served by them going forward.

Really cool announcement from @sethaxen, who's been doing a lot of work in Julia to support @arviz_devs. Arviz is tooling for general-purpose exploration of Bayes models.
Headline -- Arviz.jl is now all Julia! No Python wrappers.

We are revamping our plotting module to allow for better composability and extensibility. Do you want to help? Please get in touch.

@pymc_devs and @arviz_devs have been upgraded in @GoogleColab
You'll see the updated default environment roll out in the next couple of days.
Huge thanks to all the teams in all projects for making Bayesian workflows so easy!

@arviz_devs python package is released v0.15.1
Lots of great work from great people. Be sure to update your environments

Also be sure to check out @arviz_devs's #JuliaLang GSOC projects! There's one that explicitly crosses over between ArviZ and Turing, but Turing users would benefit from all of them.

. @NumFOCUS will be participating in Google Summer of Code 2023 (@GoogleOSS) again this year (9th summer!).
Interested in working on the tools in the @PyData, @JuliaLanguage ecosystem (with a sweet stipend)?

The @arviz_devs library has such a thoughtful interface! I just tried haphazardly to pass a list with two InferenceData objects (or rather two different groups) to plot_density, and it works. Then found in the equally thoughtful doc just the right arguments to adjust the style...
