Chi lascia l’Italia con almeno 800.000 euro di partecipazioni e titoli dovrà pagare il 26% sulle plusvalenze maturate. La tassa colpisce chi è stato residente in Italia per almeno 6 degli ultimi 10 anni e vale per i trasferimenti dal 1° gennaio 2027. Il gettito stimato è di 3,37 milioni di euro nel 2027 e 6,74 milioni l'anno dal 2028.
La nuova imposta potrebbe disincentivare i paperoni internazionali a trasferirsi in Italia, invertendo un trend che aveva portato l'Italia al terzo posto delle destinazioni mondiali di wealth migration nel 2025.
