I know this might be hard for some folks to hear…but you’re not rich enough to vote for Trump, and you probably never will be.

This is a long shot, but here we go…I need a rescue or foster for a kitten we found in Panglao, Philippines. We found her alone (waited an entire day to see if the mother would show up), and she is very skinny. She also has a pretty severe upper respiratory infection 🧵

Update #3: Bean has been adopted in Bohol! A neighbor of the vet who has been fostering her fell in love and Bean is officially in her forever home. She’s gotten SO big and will be spayed soon.

We’re happy that Bean found a loving home and will be spared from the drama of traveling overseas. Thank you everyone who followed her story and provided advice and support ❤️

Tenant right to counsel WORKS! With legal representation, 70% of residents facing eviction are able to stay in their homes, and those who do move receive more time and/or money than they would have without representation. Learn more: evictiondefense.org/services… @evictiondefense
San Francisco provides all tenants facing eviction access to an attorney. Across the Bay, in Contra Costa County, it’s a different story. Two tenants’ stories show the difference a lawyer can make. cal.news/3vsI21L 📝 @FeliciaMello

We are so quick to forget the repercussions of wide-spread, fear-based vilification. The blame always lies with those in power who use violence and terror as tools to claim or maintain power, while the people they claim to represent become nothing but collateral damage.
Replying to @Scott_Wiener
I agree w/ President Biden when he said “But I caution this — while you feel that rage, don’t be consumed by it. After 9/11, we were enraged in the United States. While we sought justice and got justice, we also made mistakes.” Destruction & occupation of Gaza aren’t the answer.
