ALT Previews from the zine. Art snippets include ribbon seal, orca, walruses, and bar-tailed godwit. Writing snippet is as follows: It was much different to the burrows you were used to. The ones you took from your prey, the comfortably large burrows, lined with the fur of rabbits that used to inhabit them and your other prey; Even compared to the size of those who took you, those tunnels were unreasonably big. That was the main reason why you didn’t put up much of a fight, yet; If the humans took on monsters this large and powerful, you’d have a hard time defeating them. Better to wait, see what you were up against and only attack the monsters when you were sure you could win. You missed the thrill of a good chase. – excerpt from To Fame and Back

ALT Previews from the zine. Art snippets include the Aurora Borealis, Dall sheep, Atlantic puffin, and an underwater piece with a crab. Writing snippet is as follows: The mother none of us will ever know did not lay so many eggs for no reason. Nor did she do such a thing for fun—laying eggs isn't exactly easy, though her job as a mother ended there. Not all of us will hatch, in the end. But I do. So do many other little fish, swimming freely beneath the pack ice. In a way, the ice is more of a parent than our never met mother ever could have been. Few fish save us can live in conditions like these. Fewer fish still can thrive in conditions like these. – excerpt from One of Many
