You're going to have to deal with the fact that nobody knows exactly what the future role of programming languages and frameworks are. Maybe it all does go away and it's a straight shot from prompt to microcode! But best you can do today is get the most out of what's here now.

for the young folks out there: be humble. humility is the greatest virtue. skills will come and go; your failures and successes will come and go. what always remains constant is how you treat people and how you make them feel. i hope the world becomes a little kinder.

I hate when VS Code eats up 1GB and takes 7 seconds to start, so I built px0.ai, which does the same things in 20MB of RAM and starts in 1ms. The last time we edited code in an IDE was in 2025, so our IDEs should become read-only but fast. Give it a shot.

4 billion payments. 3 trillion data points. One model trained on all of it. Meet @Razorpay Vulcan - India’s first transformer-based AI foundation model for payments. Built, trained and hosted in India, in partnership with @nvidia and @awscloud. Until now, every payments problem was solved separately: routing, fraud, risk, personalisation and more. We asked: What if one model could understand how money moves? And like LLMs are trained on text to understand language, Vulcan is trained on payments to understand how money moves. Already running in beta across 51,000+ businesses, Vulcan is delivering: - 8–10% improvement in payment success rates - the ultimate measure of whether a payment simply works. - 8x more international card fraud detected. - 5x more fraudulent or disputed transactions identified. - 1–2 lakh more purchases completed every month through better checkout personalisation. And we’re just getting started. The best part? Every payment Vulcan sees makes the next one smarter. We’ve spent years building the infrastructure that moves money for India. Now, we’re building the intelligence that understands and improves it. 🔥

Many people think any given ML project is 99% training. In reality, it’s 50% evaluation, 40% data cleaning, 8% integration, and 2% training. The first two set the noise floor for learning. No ML magic matters; the model cannot lower the noise floor, as that’s the optimal bound of Shannon encoding of your data. Thus, not a single day goes by without me thinking about ontology. Even the old labels have to be constantly reviewed.

Our internal data shows Claude is accelerating AI development—a possible path to recursive self-improvement, or AI autonomously building a more capable successor. It’s happening faster than we thought, and the implications deserve greater attention. anthropic.com/institute/recu…

This hits frontier‑AI research labs the hardest, as their best AI researchers face deportation or pressured moves to new tech hubs like London, Bengaluru, or Shanghai. Remote work helps, but you can’t sustain full efficiency and velocity without people working in offices and meeting in person. It’s a huge opportunity for the GOI to reverse brain drain with the right incentives - but can the decades‑old infrastructure that built Silicon Valley adapt quickly enough to support a shift like this? No doubt the system has been abused by bad actors, but we could design something more clever to ensure the right “extraordinary brains” get their GCs without living under constant uncertainty.
An alien who is in the U.S. temporarily and wants a Green Card must return to their home country to apply. This policy allows our immigration system to function as the law intended instead of incentivizing loopholes. The era of abusing our nation’s immigration system is over.
