North Shields Ath Res

𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟯-𝟯 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱𝘀 Proud of the lads today, turned up with 11 senior players, several playing out of position and three 16 year olds on the bench stepping up from our 18s. Every single player grafted their arses off and genuinely can’t knock a single player. Better team for the majority of the game, 3-1 up with 15 to go and 2 set pieces let North Sunderland back into the game. ⚽️Harry Morris (Pen) ⚽️James Spencer🅰️Andy Coleman ⚽️James Spencer🅰️Andy Coleman The Central Employment & Tyne Tunnels MOTM goes to James Spencer, bagging a brace today. Longest away day of the season, no players, so we take the point and move onto the minor cup next week. All the best to @NorthSunderland #UTR🔴

𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗖𝗛𝗗𝗔𝗬🛩️ Longest away day of the season as we make the trip up to Seahouses to face @NorthSunderland #UTR🔴

𝗡𝗘𝗫𝗧 𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗖𝗛 | 𝗩𝘀 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 (𝗔)🛫 Our next fixture takes place on foreign soil, so it’s a trip to the airport before our flight to Seahouses to face @NorthSunderland in the league. Both sides were promoted from the second division last season with a win a piece. Any support would be appreciated!👋🏼 #UTR🔴

𝗡𝗲𝘄𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝟭-𝟯 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱𝘀 Good result today in awful conditions today. Leading 2-1 at the break, and adding our third early into the second half. ⚽️Joel Green🅰️Reece Richardson ⚽️OG ⚽️James Spencer🅰️Addy Crass The Central Employment & Tyne Tunnels MOTM goes to GK Oscar Berry. Some brilliant saves in the last 15 minutes tipped it in his favour. Well done mate🤝🏼 All the best to the Uni for the rest of the season! #UTR🔴

𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗖𝗛𝗗𝗔𝗬👋🏼 On the road today as we face Newcastle University. #UTR🔴

𝗡𝗘𝗫𝗧 𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗖𝗛 | 𝗡𝗲𝘄𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 (𝗔) Back to the league this weekend for the first time in October as we make the short journey along the cost road to face @NewcastleUniAFC. Any support would be appreciated👋🏼 #UTR🔴

𝗛𝗲𝗯𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗻 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝟯-𝟬 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱𝘀 The lads exited the George Dobbins cup yesterday at the hands of premier side Hebburn. A goal just before half time left us going into the break 2-0 down however we could quite easily have had 4 or 5 in the second half, however when you don’t take your changes against good sides you get punished. Valient effort from the lads regardless and all the best to @townreserves for the rest of the season! #UTR🔴

𝗦𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗹𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝟬-𝟱 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱𝘀 Comfortable result today for Shields as we advance to the next round of the @NorthumFA Minor Cup. Plenty of lads missing too. ⚽️Kallen Gray🅰️Reece Itchinson ⚽️CJ Curtis🅰️Reece Itchinson ⚽️Addy Crass🅰️CJ Curtis ⚽️CJ Curtis🅰️Finn Heslop ⚽️Jaxson Bell🅰️Finn Heslop The Central Employment & Tyne Tunnels MOTM goes to 16 y/o Jaxson Bell. Great performance in the middle of the park👏🏼 All the best to Sluice for the rest of the season! Cup action again next week as we face a tough test on the road to @townreserves in the last 16 of the George Dobbins👋🏼 #UTR🔴

𝗡𝗘𝗫𝗧 𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗖𝗛 (𝗖𝗨𝗣) | 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗹𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗲 (𝗔) Back in @NorthumFA Minor Cup action this weekend as we travel to face @NCFLleagues side @SeatonSluiceFC in the second round. As always any support would be appreciated!👋🏼 #UTR🔴

𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱𝘀 𝟮-𝟯 𝗡𝗲𝘄𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 Confirmation of the weekends result as we bow out of the league cup in the first round. Ahead at half time, then a sub par second half performance with the addition of being told no pushes in the back would be given all game by the man in the middle (until the last 10 minutes) ultimately lead to a poor result. ⚽️Kallen Gray🅰️Addy Crass ⚽️CJ Curtis🅰️Joel Green The Central Employment & Tyne Tunnels MOTM goes to Joe Whittaker, doing us a favour filling in at centre half and didn’t put a foot wrong. All the best to @NewcastleUniAFC for the rest of the season and we will see you at the end of the month👋🏼 #UTR🔴

𝗪𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗹𝗲𝘆 𝗕𝗮𝘆 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟬-𝟬 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱𝘀 A ‘fantastic’ watch for the neutral and some stellar acting from our keeper after a clear attempt to behead him. A fiery fixture which resulted in shields going down to 10 within the first 20 minutes, regardless the best chance of the game fell to Addy Crass who showed some sportsmanship whilst in on goal… A very good point though given the circumstances, especially having the wind against us both halves. The Central Employment & Tyne Tunnels MOTM goes to goalkeeper Oscar Berry for a mixture of his saves and Oscar worthy performance whilst on the deck. All the best to Whitley for the rest of the season👍🏼 #UTR🔴
