Let’s be clear what this means. Musk and Trump decided that innocent Ukrainians should die.
“Elon Musk approached Donald Trump with the idea of slowing down Starlink in Ukraine, The Telegraph can reveal. The billionaire tech entrepreneur approached the US president with the proposal to introduce speed limits on the system, which hampered Ukraine’s drone defences, according to four sources familiar with the discussions. One of the sources said Mr Trump “agreed” with Mr Musk’s suggestion, paving the way for the Pentagon to execute the slowdown on Starshield, the military-grade version of the satellite communications system.

People will say "He's just joking" but he actually does this already. It's an impeachable offense in broad daylight and it doesn't even occur to him that it's deeply wrong to govern in such a way.

Some of you may think the job of the SECDEF is to advise POTUS, confer with senior leaders on strategy, acquisitions, R/D, and other boring stuff. It's not. It's to do PT with kids and bark Old Testament passages at them while losing a war to a third-rank power in the Gulf.
.@SECWAR "This is our first stop on what we are calling the SEND ME TOUR. If you know your Book of Isaiah, Chapter 6, Verse 8, the Lord said, 'Whom shall I send?' Isaiah says, 'Lord, I AM HERE. SEND ME...' For 250 years of this country, there have been men and women who RAISED THEIR RIGHT HAND and said, 'SEND ME.' SEND ME TO GO FIGHT THE REDCOATS. SEND ME TO GO FIGHT THE COMMUNISTS. SEND ME TO GO FIGHT THE ISLAMISTS. AND YOU ARE SAYING, SEND ME TO GO FIGHT WHATEVER THREATS THREATEN OUR NATION.'"

One of the lowest points in American history. Two grifting scumbags, representing financial interests of the US President, groveling before a mass murdering dictator that's currently helping Iran murder Americans and waging war against every American ally that's fought alongside the US, all for promises of lucrative business deals that Putin will never give them.

Let me get this straight... OpenAl was founded as a nonprofit. Open source. For everyone. "To benefit humanity." Then he raised billions of dollars. Then he closed the source code. Then he converted to for-profit. Then he scraped the entire internet without asking anyone. Then he used YOUR writing YOUR art YOUR code to train his models. Now he's on stage saying you'll pay HIM to access intelligence. Just like a water meter. He stole all of your data. He built the product with your work. And now he's going to bill you to use it... Corporate greed has reached an all time high, and they're not even hiding it anymore...
Open AI CEO, Sam Altman: “We see a future where intelligence is a utility, like electricity or water, and people buy it from us on a meter.”

"Eggs expensive under Biden" was a story for six months. "Trump made everything expensive on purpose" is apparently just a Trump personality quirk we're all supposed to get used to.

This stopped me cold. The USPS’s new system for mailing absentee ballots has a “zero percent failure” policy. What’s that mean? If a state submits a batch of 10,000 ballots and just ONE voter’s information doesn’t match, maybe because they moved or changed their name, USPS could hold up the entire batch. All 10k ballots. Not mailed. One honest mistake. 9,999 other voters potentially waiting for ballots through no fault of their own. And because these are outgoing ballots, the voters may never know why theirs didn’t arrive. They just lose their opportunity to vote. This system was rushed, poorly tested, and developed in spite of court orders blocking its implementation. You don’t need to directly alter votes to affect an election. Preventing lawful votes from ever being cast works just as well.

This is all wrong: 1. Kim Jong-Un is not Trump’s friend. They’ve personally interacted for just 5 hours, in a diplomatic setting, & haven’t seen each other since 2019. Deluding himself into believing that typical leader interactions like this are actually ‘friendships’ is how 1
Trump allies himself with totalitarian dictator Kim Jong Un against South Korea: “Based on my very good relationship with Kim Jong Un, of North Korea, I am not happy with the fact that the United States has, long ago, agreed to participate in Joint Military Exercises with South Korea. These exercises are not only costly, with much of these costs paid for by the United States of America (as usual!), but send a signal that is totally inappropriate and hostile, to a Country that, as long as Donald J. Trump has been President, has been unthreatening and respectful … While somewhat unrelated (?), I recently asked the President of South Korea if they would like to join us in the Denuclearization of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and they said, ‘No thanks!’”

Inflation rose under Biden for reasons largely out of his control. Inflation is rising under Trump for reasons directly under his control yet it's getting a fraction of the coverage and none of the nuance b/c access to Dear Leader matters more than accuracy or objectivity.

We do want voter ID though. Go ahead. Issue every citizen a free ID that's easy and free to update/replace and require bringing that to vote. Oh? That's not what you meant? You just want everyone to jump through hoops to vote? Gotcha, stfu then.
JUST IN: 🇺🇸 Joe Rogan says the only reason Democrats don't want voter ID in elections is to cheat.

This is straight out of Mein Kampf btw. Its paraphrased and adapted to the modern world of course, but the idea that the Aryan race invented culture/technology and so a Pole or a Slav could never be truly German is the core foundational idea that gave birth to Nazism
Stephen Miller on Birthright Citizenship Decision: I can step tomorrow onto the deck of a 747. It does not mean that I'm the pilot of that plane and I'm qualified to fly it. We have people from all over the world from third world nations, nations that on their own would have never invented the wheel let alone modern technology, let alone medicine, let alone air travel, and they can just come into the country, have a baby, and then that baby is automatically a citizen? The baby can sit on a jury when they turn 18??

Norway wins the most medals at the Winter Olympics, with a population of just 5.6 million. People say it’s because Norway is a winter wonderland, but they’re also elite at triathlon, beach volleyball, cycling, and as the world is now seeing, soccer. A big part of their success is how they treat youth sports—and it’s the opposite of what we do in the US and Canada. Here’s what we can learn from Norway: 1. Scorekeeping: In the US: Youth sports tend to be hyper competitive even at early ages. Leagues almost always keep score. In Norway: Scorekeeping isn’t even allowed until age 13. Removing winners and losers keeps the focus on the process not outcomes. It keeps kids engaged longer because it minimizes pressure (and tears) and maximizes fun, learning, and growth. The goal isn’t to win a third grade championship. It’s to love sport and keep playing. 2. Trophies: In the US: If you give everyone a trophy, you’re creating snowflakes who will never gain a competitive edge. In Norway: Whenever trophies are awarded, they are handed out to everyone. If getting a trophy makes young kids feel good, we should give them trophies. Maybe they’ll come back and play again next year!! As for the creation of snowflakes with no competitive edge—Norway’s athletes are tough as nails and all they do is win. 3. Prioritizing Fun: In the US: Far too often, the goal is to win. In Norway: The national philosophy is “joy of sport.” Youth sports in the US are driven by adults, ego, and money. Youth sports in Norway are driven by fun. Only half of kids in the US participate in sports. The number one reason they drop out: because they aren’t having fun anymore. In Norway, 93% of kids participate in youth sports. Fun is the foremost goal. 4. Playing Multiple Sports: In the US: There’s pressure to specialize early and play your best sport year round. In Norway: Try as many sports as you can before specializing as late as college. Norway encourages kids to try all types of sport. This reduces injury and burnout and increases all-around athleticism. It also helps promotes match quality, or finding the sport you are best suited for as your body develops, which is impossible if you commit to a single sport too early. 5. Affordability In the US: There is increasingly a pay-to-play model with high fees for leagues, equipment, and travel. This excludes many kids from playing. In Norway: It’s a national priority to keep youth sports affordable and therefore accessible for all. Kids aren’t priced out, which creates opportunities for everyone to participate (and develop into athletes), regardless of their parents’ income level. Norway’s sporting success isn’t just speculation or a nice story. A large body of research supports their approach: • Studies show athletes who specialize later in life have a significantly higher chance of becoming elite. • Soccer players whose motivation is primarily internal (versus external) have more than a 3x better chance of making it to an elite level. • The number one predictor of whether or not kids stay in sport is are they having fun. • Parents connect winning to having fun whereas kids say having fun is about being with their friends and learning. We could learn a lot from Norway: In the US, 70% of kids drop out of youth sports by age 13. This not only diminishes an elite-athlete pipeline, but it also destroys an opportunity for healthy habits and all the character lessons kids can learn from sport. In Norway, lifelong participation in sport is the norm. The goal isn’t to have the best 9U team. It’s to develop the best athletes. Those are two very different things. And Norway has the medals to prove it.

This is the type of crisis that a Democratic president would be held personally responsible for by the media. Instead it’s getting virtually no national attention despite the issue being directly connected to federal cuts enacted by the Trump administration
