As an Ethiopian I genuinely believe we are blessed to share a border with a country like Kenya 🇪🇹❤️🇰🇪
I have so much love and respect for our Kenyan brothers and sisters and I hope one day our borders become more open and our economies deeply intertwined
Together we have a combined population of nearly 200 million people and imagine the opportunities if we connected our markets infrastructure businesses industries and people
I want us to compete fiercely over economic growth infrastructure innovation technology manufacturing education tourism and development while always cheering for each other’s success
Imagine a future where our highways railways energy networks and industries are connected where businesses can freely expand across both countries and where our young people have access to one enormous market full of opportunities
Ethiopia and Kenya have the potential to become two of Africa’s greatest economic powerhouses and I truly believe our competition should push us to become better while our cooperation makes us stronger
I want to see both nations prosper not at each other’s expense but because of each other’s success
May our friendship only grow stronger with every generation 🇪🇹🤝🇰🇪

Senior officials from Iran, Pakistan, Türkiye and Saudi Arabia have begun a four-way meeting in Tehran, hosted by Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Secretary Mohsen Rezaei.

Ultimately, Middle Eastern problems can only be resolved by the Middle East itself
