nobody has it all figured out.
The nicer car. The bigger house. You don’t know what goes on when the door closes.
Stop using someone else’s life as a reason to hate your own.
You have problems? Face them. You’ve made mistakes? Own them. But beating the hell out of yourself won’t undo them.
Keep your word. Take care of your body. Nourish your soul. Help people. Don’t let pain turn you into someone you wouldn’t respect. wipe that victim mentality off your face.
some days, that will take everything you have but there is honor in that kind of life. Even if nobody sees it.
i see it and promise you you'll over come it.
personally north of a double this year now on $halo ... wondering how much more there is left in this thing. any of you biotech knowers that want to educate me ... feel free.
Halozyme $HALO has been one of the biotech winners this year with nearly a 20% return.
The company doesn't discover drugs but it licenses technology that makes existing drugs more accessible.

one of the best parts about what I do is that I have no outside investors, no time horizon, and no one in my ear. can do what i want, when i want, how i want.
kudos to anyone managing money to a horizon or captive to outside shareholders/lps.

You watch this and laugh.
But then you start to think about all the furus on here larping as experts. And you realize most people fall victim to the “appearance of authority” every day.

Raymond James was looking at an acquisition last quarter, enough to pause buybacks. Doesn't look like it's happening for now... $RJF still has good bit of excess capital, so what were they looking at?
Meanwhile, Stifel has said wealth M&A is too expensive at 15-18x adj EBITDA (just don't look at the public multiples), and says the best acquisition for $SF is itself.
