Auri 4.0 is finally here!
We rebuilt Auri from the ground up: a brand new keyboard with the assistant inside, new design, new app icon, and an even better dictation across iPhone, iPad, Mac (with Auri Voice), and Apple Watch.
IN YOUR NEW KEYBOARD:
• A new lightning-fast typing engine with swipe typing and support for 85 languages, including Chinese, Japanese, and Korean (you can now switch between them with a simple swipe).
• Near-instant dictation with an industry-leading 1.1% word error rate. Say it messy. It drops the ums, keeps your corrections, and formats lists, numbers, and times. Pick Raw, Clean, Concise, Casual, or Professional modes.
• Ask Auri from any app. Type a question, attach any note from your Library as a reference, get the answer where you are, and insert it with a tap.
• Ask Auri to do things. Add a calendar event, set a reminder, look up a contact, read your Gmail, save to Notion.

🆕 v4.1.4, with significantly improved keyboard performance, haptics, and autocorrection quality, is live on the App Store.
Couldn't for the life of me figure out the last, very annoying iOS keyboard lag.
After hundreds of test, it turned out that iOS 27 flags real touches near screen edges as edge touches and withholds them from the view for 110-170 ms, while a gesture recognizer gets them in ~20 ms. I was handling presses through the view's own touch handler, so those keys arrived late. Smh.

Here's everything that's new:
🧠 Memory you can see. Settings → Memory lists every fact Auri keeps about you and when and where it came from.
Edit, switch off, or delete any fact, and read the short profile Auri builds from them. Say “remember that I prefer aisle seats,” and a chip appears under the reply with Undo. Correct a fact later, and the old one retires.
Your memory now works with Ask Auri on the keyboard, Siri, and Apple Watch. Add “without using my memory” to a question, and Auri leaves it out.
💬 No more picking an Ask Auri mode.
Auri chooses the model, how hard to think, and whether to answer as text, a chart, an image, or a file for each message.
Under any answer, tap Think longer or Show as visual. Prefer the deeper model every time? Turn on “Always think longer” in Settings.

🌏 iOS Keyboard now fully supports Simplified Chinese (12-Key Pinyin and QWERTY Pinyin) and Korean (2-set and 10-key layouts).
