Software development just got a factory reset. Today, we're introducing Automaze WORKS - a fully managed software factory. AI-speed coding. Senior-engineer judgment. Zero engineering headaches. Here's how it works: → You create a ticket → Senior engineers approve the plan → AI coding agents build it → Engineers review the code → You approve working software No hiring. No managing developers. No chasing deliverables. All the speed of AI, with the accountability of experienced engineers. Starting at just $1,000/month. Meet your new engineering team: automaze.works

Let AI Do the Work, Not the Thinking

Automaze Works is using ghf with great results. Benchmarks will be published soon ;)
Coding agents can make hundreds of edits between Git commits. Most of those intermediate states disappear forever. So I built ghf. ghf is a Git-compatible, high-frequency source control for AI agents. ghf (Git High Frequency) saves the state of a worktree every time an agent finishes an edit. Each save is a checkpoint. The checkpoints for one unit of work form a trace. Any agent on any authorized machine can list, diff, restore, apply, or fork a trace. ghf sits next to Git, not inside it. It writes nothing into commits, messages, refs, notes, or the object database. Accepted work still lands as ordinary Git commits and pull requests, and plain Git users never need to know ghf exists. - Checkpoint (p95) < 28 ms - Cross-machine restore < 0.6s Running in @cloopdev and @automaze's Works. Rust. Open-source. Soon.

AI made writing code cheap. But writing code was never the whole job of a software engineer. Someone still needs to understand the system, make architectural decisions, evaluate trade-offs, catch expensive mistakes, and know when something is actually ready for production. And here's the interesting part: For decades, we paid the same expensive humans to do both. To make the decisions and execute them. AI has fundamentally changed the economics of execution. But we're still organizing software development as if nothing happened. We think that's the real opportunity. Not replacing software engineers with AI. Rethinking what software engineering looks like when execution is no longer the expensive part. More next week.

Every change lands on a live staging environment before production. We look at it and give one of three answers: ship it, fix this first, or don't ship it. Within one business day. In writing, on a record. automaze.io/services/cto-as-…

Most code review happens too late. By the time there's a pull request, the expensive decision was made days ago. We review the spec before anything gets built. It costs a fraction of reviewing the implementation of a bad plan. automaze.io/services/cto-as-…

A technical co-founder costs a permanent share of the company and can't be undone. Our version costs a monthly invoice and can be stopped. Same architecture, same technical direction, same person accountable for what ships. automaze.io/services/cto-as-…

We've sold CTO-as-a-Service for a while. Most clients preferred the one-stop-shop package. The reason was simple. With CTO-as-a-Service they still had to find someone to build what we designed. The full package didn't leave that problem with them. So we closed the gap. The building is included now. automaze.io/services/cto-as-…

We're opening up space for just two new client partnerships next quarter. If you're a founder or business looking for a technical co-founder, CTO-as-a-Service, AI implementation, or a development team that can take your product from idea to launch, we'd love to talk. Two spots. No more. Book a call (link in first comment)

I broke down the Fable 5 release from @AnthropicAI with my AI co-host today. The efficiency angle is underrated – low reasoning effort matching Opus 4.8 high effort at similar cost is a big deal for anyone building production systems. This is exactly what the podcast is going to be. Real conversations, in real time, on whatever's worth talking about. Episode 1 is live next week. Join us live (link in first comment)

Why we built this: Every PR should answer "does it work?" with more than a checkbox. Proof gives you a 10-second replay instead of a 200-line diff. Attach it to PRs, send it to stakeholders, and archive it for compliance.
