people saying apple homeview is “just an ipad on a speaker” and it’s literally the best lesson in business you’ll see this year:
you can take one product and sell it to a totally different customer.
- homeview: an ipad on a speaker, for grandparents and the kitchen counter
- iphone: the computer for everyone
- ipad: an iphone with a bigger screen, for kids, artists and couch scrollers
- ipad mini: a smaller ipad, for readers and pilots
macbook: an ipad with a keyboard, for people who work
- apple watch: an iphone for your wrist, for runners and people who want fewer distractions
-airpods: the iphone’s speaker, moved into your ears, for commuters
- homepod: the iphone’s speaker for your living room
- apple tv: the iphone’s apps on your tv, for families
- vision pro: the iphone’s screen strapped to your face, for early adopters
apple has been doing this for 20 years!
same chips, same apps, same ecosystem. a different customer every time. unbundled or bundled.
it works and has made them a trillion dollar company and one of the most valuable companies on earth.
Markdown is a new type of document that is becoming a standard. LLMs love markdowns, it is very clean and efficient.
We humans need a way to view and share markdown, and that's the purpose of agentgrid. io.
Give it a try, it's free.

AX is the new UX.
Software was built for humans clicking, now it gets rebuilt for agents.
Stripe just paid $8B for OpenRouter betting the main user of the internet is an agent.
Rebuilding all that software is 1000+ new companies.
The most obvious opportunity in a long time!
Anima’s CEO on agents as part of the team, and why we built AgentGrid.io: a shared drive for agents and humans.

Announcing AgentGrid.io!
A shared workspace for humans and agents.
AI agents are becoming team members, but systems are still human-first. Claude, Codex, GPT, Hermes, OpenClaw, Grok Bot - are all welcome.
Ask your agent to share your .md on agentgrid.io

The thing I'm learning about business nowadays: to survive, you need to constantly reorient.
You used to build a business, hit product-market fit, and then kind of coast.
Now you hit PMF and the ground shifts 3 months later. New AI models, new algorithms, new tools that change what's possible.
So you reorient, and reorient again, it's pretty constant.
I'm noticing even companies doing $100M to $1B in revenue are sweating these days. They feel it too.
But the cool part is if you reorient right, you get rewarded massively.
That's kinda the trade. The stability is gone, but so is the ceiling.
I've been reorienting my own companies more this year than in the last five combined. And weirdly, it's the most alive I've felt building.
It's a good time to be a founder if you can move on a dime.
For the experimenters out there, the people who actually like the constant change...
I think this has gotta be the greatest time to be building there's ever been.
Big news - Open/Chinese model now beats American frontier models.
I still run my Hermes on OpenAI 5.6
Big news: Kimi-K3 by @Kimi_Moonshot is now #1 in the Frontend Code Arena with 1679 pts, surpassing Claude Fable 5.
This is a 17-place jump from Kimi-k2.6 (#18 -> #1).
In Frontend, Kimi-K3 ranked #1 in 6 of 7 domains: Brand & Marketing, Reference-Based Design, Data & Analytics, Consumer Product, Simulations, and Content Creation Tools, landing #2 only in Gaming behind Fable 5.
The full model weights will be released by July 27.
Congrats to the @Kimi_Moonshot team on this major milestone!

We now have 5 agents as part of the team today: BI, Marketing, QA, CS, and Back Office.
Organic SEO traffic doubled (!) within a month while reducing the marketing budget.
It feels like the future and unexplored territory at the same time.
Lots of friction. Lots of rewards.
Most agents run on Linux instances in the cloud.
Some have their own Mac.
We switched from OpenClaw to Hermes so agents don’t die every other day.
We talk on Slack with team-level agents.
You train agents like new employees.
You trust agents like new employees.
Right now they don’t come up with the big ideas.
They research. They execute.
It is magical and powerful.
We do things we simply couldn't do before.
Claude just released its first step into the digital employee space.
This is (very) big because everyone can access digital employees now, 6 months after OpenClaw came out.
We've been living through the OpenClaw revolution and live with digital employees for almost 6 months now.
It is magical and powerful.
Claude tag seems less powerful, but big enough of a jump, and I wonder how the world takes it.
The future of design is code.
The only reason for static design is that code was hard. Not anymore.
Agents speak code natively. Teams increasingly start with prompts, screenshots, existing products, or rough ideas, and turn them directly into working interfaces.
In that world, code is no longer just the final implementation.
Code becomes the new medium for design as well.
Designers, PMs, engineers, marketers - and agents - can all work on the same output. Not a flat mockup. Not a static canvas. A real, interactive artifact.
We’re still early, but the direction is clear:
Design is becoming dynamic, executable, and agent-native.
Design is code.
This is what we build towards at @AnimaApp and how we work internally.
