Subject: SOS - Ikeja Electric disobeying Lagos Regulator, holding prepaid customer in darkness since September
Good morning Mr Rufai Oseni,
I am Femi Olanrewaju Esq, Solicitor to Arc. Tunde Adebowale.
Sir, we are seeking your intervention to help amplify a clear case of impunity by Ikeja Electric Plc.
FACTS IN 1 MINUTE:
1. Our Client has a FUNCTIONAL Unistar prepaid smartcard meter No. 07.0101.0011.0951 (A/C 0102198662) at his residence. On 6th Oct 2026, IE's own technical team (Mariam & Olumide) came and confirmed meter is working with 60 units still reading on display. Their staff Bukola re-confirmed on 9th Oct.
2. Instead of allowing him to continue to vend, Ikeja Electric BLOCKED his vending platform, migrated him to postpaid, and slammed him with an estimated bill of N609,875.45. So now he CANNOT pay even when he has money.
3. LASERC - Lagos State Electricity Regulatory Commission - intervened and on 12th October 2026 at 13:22 DIRECTED Ikeja Electric to IMMEDIATELY restore vending on 07.0101.0011.0951, not to subject him to estimated billing, and comply within 72 hours.
4. As at TODAY 2nd Nov 2026, 21 days after LASERC order, Ikeja Electric has refused. Only reply is "escalated to relevant teams" by one Folashade on 18th Oct.
5. Result: Man is in darkness, running generator at N50k per day since 29th Sept, and was forced to spend N6.2m in hotel bills when it became unbearable.
His simple plea: "Allow me to vend, pay and load on my prepaid meter so I can have light."
We have served Pre-Action Notice dated 19th Oct, and Final Reminder dated 3rd Nov. No response.
Sir, this is exactly the energy sector impunity you speak against - a regulator gives an order and a DisCo ignores it. If LASERC order can be ignored, what is the fate of ordinary Nigerians?
We have all documents: LASERC emails, meter video, tickets SR 6325736, bills.
Please help us use your platform to ask Ikeja Electric: Why are you disobeying LASERC and refusing to allow a prepaid customer to vend?
We can send all evidence.
Thank you sir for your voice for ordinary Nigerians.

INEC, INEC, INEC, Nigerians deserve to know when they can collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs). It is already November, and with just 79 days to the election, time is running out. How much longer must we wait? We need clear information and an urgent update on the collection process.
Today, November 5th, I had the honour of meeting with the new British High Commissioner to Nigeria and his team at the High Commissioner's Residence in Abuja. I congratulated him and the British people on the occasion of the birthday of His Majesty King Charles III.
Our discussions covered a wide range of issues, particularly governance, the welfare of Nigerians, and the forthcoming elections.
I emphasised that our appeal to the international community is not for support for any particular candidate or political party. It is for something far more fundamental: the protection of the Nigerian people's democratic right to freely choose their leaders through free, fair, transparent and credible elections.
Democracy must be about the people, their choices and their future. I therefore encouraged the international community to continue standing with Nigerians, promoting accountability and insisting that the will of the people must prevail.

Celebrating the Flamingos
I warmly congratulate Nigeria’s U-17 women’s football team, the Flamingos, on their remarkable performance at the ongoing FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco. They have demonstrated exceptional talent, resilience and determination throughout the tournament, making our nation proud.
As they prepare to face Japan in the final, I want to assure them that Nigerians everywhere are firmly behind them. I encourage them to remain focused, confident and determined as they take this final step towards glory.
The remarkable achievements of our young women are yet another testament to the immense potential of Nigerian youths. With the right leadership and an enabling environment, our young people can continue to excel and distinguish themselves on the global stage.
Once again, congratulations to the Flamingos. Keep making Nigeria proud. The sky is your limit!

ANOTHER SHOCKING REVELATION FROM THE INEC PORTAL.
Nigerians, INEC under Amupitan is the most corrupt/fraudulent organization in our country's history, and he is hellbent in destroying this nation.
INEC created secret fake polling units, named them after already existing polling unit names, used numbers, alphabets and roman numerals to differentiate them, then fixed them into different local governments.
In this video, you will see from the INEC portal, that in warri-southwest local government area in Delta state, under Ogbe-Ijoh registration area, you will discover something strange that exposes INEC as a fraudulent institution set to rig the 2027 election.
In polling units 036 and polling units 044 we have EWEIN PRIMARY SCHOOL (I) and EWEIN PRIMARY SCHOOL (II)
Now go to Warri-south local government area. An entirely different local government area from
Warri-Southwest. You will discover that under the real (Ewein) registration area, in polling units 007 and 008 we have the same EWEIN PRIMARY SCHOOL (A) and EWEIN PRIMARY SCHOOL (B)
Fellow Nigerians, how is that possible?
We have EWEIN PRIMARY SCHOOL with roman numerals in Warri-southwest LGA, and EWEIN PRIMARY SCHOOL with Alphabets in Warri-south LGA.
INEC which one amongst these two is fake, and which one is original?
In Warri-south local government, under Ewein registration area, polling unit 007 and polling unit 008 have EWEIN PRIMARY SCHOOL A, and EWEIN PRIMARY SCHOOL B. We can see the similarities.
Ewein registration area. Polling units 007, and 008. EWEIN PRIMARY SCHOOL A, and EWEIN PRIMARY SCHOOL B.
Same name, close polling units.
But in Warri-Southwest LGA, under Ogbe-Ijoh registration area, how can polling units 036 and 044 have the same primary school that is supposed to be close to each other by roman figure numbering?
Polling units 036, EWEIN PRIMARY SCHOOL (I), and 044, EWEIN PRIMARY SCHOOL (II). 😭😭😭😭 in a entirely different LGA from where the real EWEIN is known as a registration area.
But INEC fraudulently fixed the fake none-existing polling units under Ogbe-Ijoh registration area in warri-southwest.
INEC Why? INEC why? INEC Why?
Who is responsible for these manipulations? Will you blame some random persons you called your staff for this too? Will you call this one error too?
INEC who were you expecting to vote in these fake non-existing polling units?
How many votes were you expecting from these polling units. Are these ones amongst the secret polling units you created for your AI voters?
There is nothing you lots will do that we Nigerians with good conscience will not find out, or expose. But you can try harder with other things in your sleeve.
As far as the 2027 presidential election is concerned, you people can not rig it through different technical/secret manipulations. Every of your secret moves will be unravelled.
NIGERIANS TAKE NOTE OF THESE
INEC must cancel all those secret polling units they newly created.
Many are fake and non-existent.
INEC must cancel the use of AI for the upcoming 2027 general elections.
INEC must as a matter of urgency and necessity allow an independent one month forensic audit and cleaning of her newly released voter register to remove all the bots, AI registered voters, fictitious images and names, and double registrations.
For transparency and voter confidence, the 3 leading political parties and their presidential candidates must be involved through representation in this one month of INEC voters registration forensic cleaning exercise, alongside representatives of civil society organizations, and international election observation groups.
Retweet and share widely..
INEC is the weapon fashioned against Nigerians.

I received my DJI Pocket 4P camera from @LibertyElecNg, today. As part of his support for the campaign, he gave us a discount on the camera and also donated 5 power banks, phone chargers and other accessories for our use.
To him and every Peter Obi supporter who continues to show up for this campaign in one way or another, thank you. We see your support, we appreciate it, and we do not take it for granted.

Today, I visited Ile-Epo in Alimosho, Lagos State, to brief our people on the Obi-Kwankwaso ticket.
In my remarks, I urged them to remain steadfast and to serve as voters, mobilisers, agents, and defenders of the OK and NDC mandate, whether in their home states or here in Lagos.
In my company was the Lagos NDC Gubernatorial Candidate, Mr Funso Doherty, and I thank everyone sincerely for their warm support and reception. - RMK
Do not Undermine Democracy
I have received with shock the news of an order by the Federal High Court in Abuja nullifying the emergence of the Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and all the actions he has taken. This is unsettling and surprising.
I do not challenge the ruling of the court. The court of law is constituted to determine disputes according to the law. My concern is that three months before a general election, it is in the public interest to have certainty. It is not good to have too many uncertainties about candidates and parties a few weeks before a presidential election. This instability is obviously engineered by the ruling party, just as they have done against me in the Labour Party and continue to do so to close down civic space for a robust campaign. It is also from the same rulebook that manufactures violence against us in our campaigns.
One mark of democracy is that at all times, it is voters and not courts that choose leaders. I trust in the judiciary. As a public officer, I have shown deep respect for the judiciary. I appeal that we protect the integrity of democracy by not undermining the free and fair choice of candidates.
The sustenance of democracy in Nigeria, in the midst of encroaching military rule in West Africa, should strengthen our resolve to protect opposition politics and not stamp out opposition parties. It is because of the importance of opposition to the sustenance of democracy that I have always promised that, as President, I will take a special interest in ensuring opposition parties are stable and thriving, and that opposition candidates are not persecuted out of electoral contests.
This is a time to strengthen our democracy by allowing the opposition to thrive.

“Under my leadership, anybody who kidnaps our children and goes into the forest, we will go in there with them.
Go and ask what happened in Akpaka Forest when I was Governor of Anambra State, when it was being used to keep kidnap victims. I went to meet President Yar’Adua and said, ‘Mr President, there is a forest in my place. I want to demolish that forest, and I’m going to use air and land to make sure no animal comes out of that forest.’
Go to Onitsha today; the best estate we have in Onitsha is Akpaka Forest.
No forest in Imo will anybody use for kidnapping again. We will be very decisive.
Under Kwankwaso and me, we will declare an emergency on corruption. The greatest problem of this country is people stealing public money. It cannot continue. Public money must be used for public good.
If you want to be a businessman, go and make money outside government, not in government.
People will say corruption will fight back. Give us the opportunity; we will bury corruption. It will not be allowed to fight back.
We must end corruption because that is what is destroying Nigeria.”
— Mr Peter Obi, CON (In Owerri, Imo State)
IMO STATE: OUR CONVERSATIONS AND ENGAGEMENT WITH THE PEOPLE CONTINUE
Our conversations and engagement with the people continued yesterday, 31st October 2026, as we journeyed from Yenagoa to Owerri, Imo State, for another edition of our ongoing town hall meeting series.
Upon arrival, I began with a visit to one of the markets in Owerri, where I interacted with traders, buyers and other residents. Their stories and experiences offered yet another sobering reminder of how difficult life has become for ordinary Nigerians under the harsh economic policies of this administration.
In my remarks at the town hall meeting, I reminded the good people of Imo State that, after more than three years in office, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has not considered it necessary to spend even one night in Imo State, despite spending over 260 days abroad.
Meanwhile, his administration has accumulated enormous debts without delivering commensurate improvements in the lives of Nigerians. Our country is now ranked among the hungriest nations in the world, with over 140 million people living in multidimensional poverty. To compound this crisis, Nigeria remains one of the most terrorised countries in the world, while approximately 18 million children are out of school.
I reassured the people of Imo State that all hope is not lost. Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and I are committed to securing and uniting our country, making massive investments in critical sectors such as health and education, and lifting millions of Nigerians out of poverty.
Among the leading contenders, we believe we possess the experience, competence, capacity, commitment and readiness required to undertake the difficult but necessary task of turning Nigeria around.
During the interactive session, questions were also raised about the protection of our votes. I encouraged our people to come out in their numbers, exercise their democratic rights and, more importantly, remain vigilant and stay with their votes until the final results are declared.
I sincerely thank our teeming supporters, party candidates, party members, organisers and, most importantly, the good people of Imo State for their warmth, enthusiasm and overwhelming support.
The journey to a new Nigeria is a collective responsibility. Together, we can build a country that works for everyone.

In Owerri today, Peter Obi’s campaign vehicle moved slowly through a market on the way to the NDC town hall.
What happened next was simple and, for many, unexpectedly moving: market women began pressing foodstuffs- tomatoes, vegetables, fruits and other produce, into the vehicle and toward him.
Babies were lifted up. People smiled, waved and chanted. No cash was being distributed. The goods flowing were the women’s own stock.
This is worth pausing over because Nigerian politics has trained people to read public displays of affection as either carefully staged or purely transactional. “Stomach infrastructure,” rice distributions, cash handouts and hired crowds are the familiar grammar.
Here the grammar was inverted. Women whose daily capital is the produce they sell chose to give some of it away.
In an economy where food prices have remained punishing and many small traders are operating with thin or negative margins, that is not a trivial gesture.
It is a small personal sacrifice offered as recognition.
Market women occupy a distinctive place in Nigerian public life. They are not abstract “voters.” They are the operating system of the informal economy; the people who buy from farmers, sell to households, and carry the immediate shock of inflation and currency weakness.
In many Igbo communities they also function as social barometers. When they warm to a politician, it is usually because they have already formed a judgment about character, consistency or past performance.
Obi’s long record of market visits (both as Anambra governor and as a candidate) and his repeated emphasis on production, small-scale trade and reducing the cost of living give that judgment a concrete reference point.
The scene also sits inside a larger pattern visible across his current tour. He has been stopping in markets and interacting with traders in multiple states, not merely holding closed-door stakeholder meetings.
The Owerri moment is one of the more spontaneous-looking examples. It does not prove that every crowd is organic or that every supporter is uninfluenced by party machinery, I agree, because this is politics.
However, It does show that, in this particular place and at this particular time, a sizable group of ordinary traders felt moved enough to offer something of their own rather than simply receive.
Politically, the Southeast remains Obi’s strongest base from 2023, and Imo is not an exception. What is striking is the durability of the emotional connection after the Labour Party fragmentation, the move to the NDC, and three years of national economic strain.
The reverse gift; citizens giving the candidate part of their livelihood, is a vivid counter-image to the usual campaign exchange in which the candidate (or his agents) gives the citizen something in exchange for a photo or a vote.
Whether that emotional capital can be converted into votes across a more competitive national field is a separate question.
The video simply records that the capital still exists, and that it is being expressed in a language of affection rather than obligation.
In a period when many Nigerians describe politics as extraction and leadership as distance, a market full of people voluntarily parting with their goods is a reminder of what recognition looks like when it is not purchased.
That is why the clip feels emotional. It is not spectacle for its own sake. It is ordinary people briefly treating a politician as someone who has already earned a measure of their trust.
End.
When Peter Obi wins, funny stories about snakes swallowing billions of naira in public funds in government offices will become a thing of the past. He will ensure that both the person telling such a lie and the snake will be held accountable. Vote wisely, my people.
A vote for Peter Obi is a vote for progress, development, and a better future for your children. It is about building a Nigeria where quality education is accessible, hospitals work, businesses thrive, jobs are available, and every child has a fair chance to succeed.

HAPPY 70TH BIRTHDAY TO MY BROTHER AND FELLOW PARTNER IN SERVICE TO NIGERIA, RABIU MUSA KWANKWASO
As you mark your 70th birthday on October 21, I honour not only an accomplished public servant but also a very dear elder brother and partner whose life has been dedicated to serving our people.
With the passage of time, I have come to deeply appreciate the bond between us, the many conversations we have shared, and the common commitment to Nigeria that continues to shape our service. Your path through the legislature, the Federal Executive Council, the governorship of Kano State, and national public life represents decades of experience, duty, and meaningful engagement with the Nigerian people.
Turning seventy is not merely a significant milestone; it is a moment to look back with gratitude on a life devoted to service, the wisdom gained through experience, and the opportunities that remain ahead.
As we continue to hope for and work toward a better Nigeria, I remain grateful for our partnership and for our shared conviction that our nation can become a place where no child is deprived of opportunity, no family is left in poverty, and every Nigerian can live with dignity, security, and hope.
My dear brother, may God bless you with renewed strength, good health, wisdom, and many more productive years. May the years ahead be filled with peace, fulfilment, and the satisfaction of seeing the values we cherish take firmer root across our nation.
Warmest congratulations on your 70th birthday, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso @KwankwasoRM . I honour you on this special occasion and pray that the chapter ahead will be filled with abundant blessings and many more purposeful years. -PO

I have noted with deep concern the conduct of the ADC campaign team. The attacks directed at me, our presidential candidate His Excellency Peter Obi, and our party, the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), are unnecessary and unhelpful.
Rather than focusing on presenting the competence, credibility, and capacity of their own candidate as we have consistently done by placing our credentials and record of achievements before Nigerians, the ADC Presidential Campaign Council appears intent on creating mischief against our party and ticket. This includes attempts to portray us as working for the ruling party or to suggest that we may withdraw from the race in favour of the ADC candidate at the last minute.
The ADC-PCC would be better served directing its energy toward rebutting the serious allegations levelled against their candidate by the Vice President, His Excellency Kashim Shettima, instead of targeting me and His Excellency Peter Obi.
We are aware that the ADC-PCC may try to mislead our supporters on the eve of the election by claiming that we intend to withdraw in their favour. Let me state clearly and unequivocally: we will not withdraw our candidature for the ADC or any other party. We remain confident in our capacity, competence, and readiness to lead Nigeria.
The OK ticket is neither working for nor acting on behalf of the APC or any of its candidates. We see no possibility or reason to withdraw from the presidential race in favour of the ADC candidate or any other. These claims are unfounded and should be treated as such.
The APC-led government has failed Nigerians. The ADC offers no better alternative. We believe the OK ticket presents a credible and viable option, backed by proven capacity, a strong track record, credibility, and broad support across both Northern and Southern Nigeria. It is a healing ticket committed to uniting our country and tackling critical challenges in security, education, agriculture, infrastructure, healthcare, the economy, and other key sectors.
We believe the NDC remains the most formidable and viable opposition party in the country. I therefore urge all our supporters and well-meaning Nigerians to continue working toward the victory of our great party.
Nigeria will be OK. - RMK
BUILDING A NEW NIGERIA – OUR COLLECTIVE RESPONSIBILITY
Today, I honoured an impromptu invitation to interact with fellow Nigerians in Manchester, United Kingdom. I had the pleasure of sharing fraternal moments with some of our compatriots in the diaspora. I spent time listening to their concerns about our nation and was encouraged by their passion and desire to build a New Nigeria for all.
The task of building a New Nigeria remains our collective responsibility, and there is no better time to roll up our sleeves and get to work than now. Our nation is standing on the brink of a precipice, and we must not shrink from the arduous task ahead of us.
Massive corruption and accumulated leadership failures remain the bane of our national progress and development. I explained to them that Nigeria remains one of the most blessed countries in the world and would have taken its place among the most developed countries if not for corruption and the leadership failure bedevilling it.
No nation, as I have always maintained, can rise above the character, competence, capacity and commitment of those entrusted with its leadership. That is why we must approach the coming general elections as a race for national survival rather than another routine exercise. It is our collective battle. The nation is ours to save for the birth of a New Nigeria that is POssible and OK. -PO
