Too may variables at play - family economic circumstances growing up, relationship with team execs, team construction, agent agenda, ego….don’t expect star players to be *that* generous and leave crazy amounts of money on the table in the future! This ain’t no trend!
It’s not the first time…but not all players grew up with NBA dad money or grew up in France, hang out monks or on a team that’s a piece away from winning! It’s all relative!
Coming from where I did, best believe if I was in the league I ain’t giving up nada - unless I’m in a great situation and👌🏽 close to winning! lol

@akca_9 made an observation this offseason about star players sacrificing money to create champion contending teams
The process clearly bore fruit with Jalen Brunson winning his first ring with the Knicks…now Wemby just followed suit
Will this become a trend? 👀🤔

It is what it is….and that’s at 42! The @sixers are a title contender clearly but would they be viewed as a “super team” if LeBron didn’t arrive?
Coming to think of it, it makes the definition of super team very shallow cuz that team *without* LeBron, as far as I’m concerned - on the court - could’ve definitely been a super team! But anyway…listen up! 🗣️🦻🏽⤵️

LeBron James creates “Super Teams”…that’s just what he does! And even at 42, expectations still surround his addition to any squad and the 76ers are the latest chapter in that storybook!
Here’s what @akca_9 had to say at the time about LeBron’s latest decision! 👀

That blue alternate @sixers jersey needs a return actually! lol
But yea this season is gonna be a movie and the City of Brotherly love can be a lead location in the script! 👀👀
Iverson’s influence may have come pre-2003 but it may have come full circle with LeBron now joining forces with possibly the team to beat in the East!
@akca_9 reacts to the news of joining the 76ers (recording from a couple of weeks ago) and brings out his old 76ers jersey too!

At the start of the Playoffs and thinking ahead, the guys discussed some of the potential landing spots for LeBron.
@akca_9 believes LeBron is at the “F-U” stage or his career and will ignore any criticism and play with gold medal buddy, Steph Curry!

@KingJames will wait for your football smoke to clear to have ALLLLL your attention! 👀👀👀🤣🤣
Alister and Orane have interesting debate on whether they’d consider SGA a Hall of Fame worthy candidate if his career ended right now!
To make his point, @akca_9 listed a number of past and future first ballot hall of famers and shows where SGA sits in the pantheon of greats!
Baseline 2 Baseline with Alister and Orane retweeted
It’s clearly just a mind exercise but he’s done a lot in the space of 2-3 seasons that some FULL careers have never been able to amass!
Is SGA a HoFer if his career/season ended RIGHT NOW? …or maybe after @spurs Game 7 loss?
Episode 24 discusses here

@akca_9 raised an interesting hypothetical in Episode 24 where he asks, if SGA’s career/season (Game 7 of the WCF against Spurs going on NOW) - Is he Hall of Fame worthy? 🤔
Orane believes that he’s had too short a career to warrant that decision but what do you think?

Wemby is ready to make good on his draft night proclamation!
Is he gonna get past his biggest obstacle in the @okcthunder ?
We’re about to find out!
Episode 23 touched on this and more!
youtu.be/dzsDLWnTUj8?si=7MNK…
Game 7 almost here, let’s be reminded of what Wemby said on Draft Night in 2023!
He made it clear that winning a ring ASAP was his priority. Will he propel the Spurs to the Finals and win against the Knicks, just like they did in 1999?

Former NBA & International Pro Kimani Ffriend shares a laugh that Wemby is the ultimate #NBA2K “Create-A-Player” and likens him to former big man nightmare match-up, 7’9 Sun Ming Ming from China!🤯
Funny but surely understandable take! Lol
#wemby #spurs #wembanyama #sunmingming
SGA ends with 24 pts on 7/23 from the field (30.4%) and 2 of 7 from 3.
Not quite 19% at the 3pt line…but it’s working!
Nevermind the stats though…what a game! 🤯🔥
I know it’s only the end of the 1st qtr and this series is going to go LONGGGG but in my upcoming Episode 23 of @b2bwithaando I call out a key stat that the @spurs can use to neutralise SGA and lessen the firepower of the MVP!
You’ll never be able to stop him but this helps!
Now THAT’S a list of accolades and a CV that’s impressive to the point where you just have to stop…or it can just go on forever! 🤣 (Which in this case is excellent and what we should all aspire to! 💪🏽👏🏽)

2010 was LeBron’s Decision; 2026 is Curry’s Decision-Decision!
With the Warriors eliminated, Steph’s decision to auction 70+pairs of shoes worn this season likely signals a decision coming soon, to end his Sneaker Free Agency!
Where should he go?
