The Dangote Refinery listing will go this way. Private rounds have had their first bite. Sweet. Thankful to the mumus who rushed in at N525 - there's sufficient exit liquidity & Dangote can continue to build his 2nd baby in Kenya. 😅 Wien it starts trading, we know those who are selling first - with the 2nd set of mumus buying in almost immediately. The first group of mumus who rushed in at N525 will be FUDed into panic selling. My prediction is that the share eventually "stabilizes" a floor price round N150-N250 ~ at least 50% discount is guaranteed. You see the ones we knew were going to sell first, they'll take some of their profits and make a new entry here. Use their profits from the initial mumus to make more money. If I will ever by that share, this exactly will be my entry point. Between price discovery and the initial mumus reaching their entry point, I'm already in sweet 100% profits. NFA. 🙏🏿

Great job my Minister of Petroleum Resources
More than five decades after its discovery, the Ima gas field has finally reached Final Investment Decision — Nigeria’s fourth major gas FID in two years. Fifty years is a long time for a resource to sit beneath the ground while the opportunities it could create remain unrealised. There is something especially meaningful about this project because Ima means love. And for me, that meaning connects to why this work matters: love for country must be expressed not only in words, but in the patient work of creating opportunities for people to live, work and prosper. I have written before about the long journey from discovery to development — and about what it means when a project that has waited for decades finally begins to move. I have also seen, through my own work, how much persistence is required to turn a promising resource into a bankable investment and, ultimately, into jobs, businesses and livelihoods. For me, this is what reform is ultimately about: changing the conditions so viable resources become investable projects — and investable projects become productive economic activity. At the heart of President Bola Tinubu’s energy reform agenda is a simple principle: resources alone do not create prosperity. We must create the fiscal, regulatory and commercial conditions that allow capital, technology and enterprise to put them to work. At peak, Ima is expected to produce approximately 350 million cubic feet of gas per day, supplying about one-third of the gas required for NLNG Train 7. But behind those numbers are people: Nigerians who will work on the project, businesses that will win contracts, young people who will acquire skills and earn incomes, and communities that should see new economic activity. That is how investment begins to become prosperity. Congratulations to @TotalEnergies and AMNI International, and thank you to the Ministry of Petroleum Resources @FMPRng , @NUPRCofficial , @OfficialNCDMB and everyone whose work brought Ima to this point. An FID is a commitment. The real measure of success is what it makes possible in people’s lives.

You took the loan, Obiano spent the money and Soludo is paying back. Did Soludo say anything wrong?
Debunking the Phantom Debts and Ecological Loan Fallacy My attention has been drawn to trending claims by the Anambra State Government that my administration left behind inherited debts, including a ₦2 billion ecological loan, contractor liabilities, and unpaid salaries, gratuities, and pensions. This is completely false. We systematically liquidated historical gratuities and arrears dating back several years, amounting to over ₦35 billion. At the point of handover, the state owed nothing in salaries, gratuities, or pensions, nor did we owe anything to any contractor for projects duly executed and certified. The ₦2 billion ecological fund in question was released barely three months before the end of my tenure for the Oko/Umuchiana erosion crisis. Despite pressure to spend the money, I refused, insisting that it should be left for my successor because government is a continuum and the funds were tied to a specific project. The money was therefore left 100 per cent intact in First Bank, in Account No. 2018779464, with a balance of over ₦2.13 billion. It is important to stress that funds tied to specific projects or set aside for particular purposes were not even included in the over ₦75 billion in savings we left behind. If anybody can establish anything to the contrary, I will stop campaigning. -PO

Now you know UCL konji is real
UEFA are very kind. They know Manchester United have been away for a while, so they gave them Sabah to kickstart. What they do not know is that Sabah has a star player called Nwachukwu, and every Nigerian is supporting Sabah tonight. Country first 🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬

Ojy Okpe: Atiku said he would restore subsidy. You said you would not. Peter Obi: Me and Atiku are saying the same thing. Ojy Okpe: No. You're not saying the same thing as Atiku. Peter Obi: Remember what I said. I'll deal with corruption. Ojy Okpe: Atiku is not talking about corruption.

As a private citizen, has he ever gone to Ekiti for vacation??
Nigerian president must spend his vacation in Nigeria, he should go on vacation in Zamfara, in Borno, in Anambra. As president, I will go to Sokoto and spend Sallah with the Sultan. - Peter Obi

I have watched Peter Obi's interview with ojy okpe twice today, and I don't think he understands the job description of the office he is contesting for. Most of what he talks about sounds like issues a local government chairman should be addressing. His team needs to show him the job description of a president.

One of the most terrifying things about life is how an entire lifetime of careful choices can be undone in seconds by someone else’s stupidity like some idiot streamer doing 200km/h for absolutely no reason.

Nigeria backed out preciously in 2020 because most francophone countries wanted to retain CFA and just “brand” it as ECO being backed by France and guaranteed by EUROs. Nigeria and most English speaking countries within ECOWAS want an independent currency whose exchange rate would be flexible or “managed-float” whose value will be defined against a basket of the euro, dollar, yuan and pound sterling rather than a single foreign currency. Foreign Reserves would also be pooled among participating countries and there would be no external sovereign guarantee. The commencement will be in phases starting with adoption by English speaking countries
Replying to @OpeBee
Have the concerns that made Nigeria withdraw during the previous attempt been addressed?

This calculation ignores the realities of running a poultry business. You're treating revenue as profit. Some of the major flaws: ✔ Feed isn't a one-time N1.6 million expense. Layers eat every single day, and feed is your biggest recurring cost. ✔ Mortality, disease outbreaks, vaccinations, drugs, labour, water, electricity, litter management and transportation are completely ignored. ✔ Not every hen lays an egg every day. Egg production fluctuates with age, weather, nutrition and stress. ✔ Selling 750 eggs daily at a fixed wholesale price assumes guaranteed demand. Markets don't work that way. Egg prices also fall during periods of oversupply. ✔ The capital is not intact. Poultry assets depreciate, birds die, and the business carries operational risk. A Money Market Fund or a diversified stock portfolio isn't promising spectacular returns, but it offers liquidity, requires almost no operational effort, and doesn't expose you to disease outbreaks, feed inflation, theft or market volatility in egg prices. Poultry is a business that demands management, experience and risk tolerance. A Money Market Fund or quality dividend stocks are investments. They're different risk profiles and shouldn't be compared using unrealistic assumptions. – at Lagos, Nigeria
Instead of tying that N10 million in mutual funds and be collecting N170k every month. Instead, use that money and enter into egg production. Use N6.4 million to buy 800 pieces of matured layers at N8,000 each. Use N2 million for where they'll stay. Use N1.6 million and buy feed. Without overestimation, you'll be picking at least 750 eggs every day. And as a wholesale, you can sell at N200. That'll give you N150,000 income everyday, N4.5 million a month and your capital is still in tact. Matured layers can effectively produce eggs for 18 months. That is, you'll get almost N81 million from these set of matured layers within 18 months. And when their productivity begins to decline, you sell them off at N5,000 each for meat. You'll just have to add extra N2.4 million to restock new ones. And give it two months, you're made.
