Games I Beat in 2026
Game 1: Final Fantasy. Super charming and basic. Generic enemies mixed with future series staples. Good to see where it came from. Went in blind, made many mistakes. Chaos, especially in the Pixel Remaster, was one of the worst, hardest endgame bosses I've fought. However, it was one of the most satisfying. Overall: B+
It’s sad we can’t discuss entertainment without addressing some random insane person’s ideology of the week. It started with media companies hiring insane left-wing activists to write weird articles, like claiming Horizon Zero Dawn stole from Native Americans, or Kotaku’s odd sexuality pieces. But the counter-movement has been just as insane. Playing games has shown me that the “woke” thing, while still present, has been vastly overblown to downright levels of insanity I only expect from people with TDS. Looking at a game like Wolverine, the real issue is often just uninspired games with bad writing and meh moments. At 35, after seeing a lot of media, it’s also getting harder to impress me.

Just wanted to give an update on YouTube. My wife cares for elderly people with issues, and her last client was recently moved to a nursing home because she can no longer live with only minor assistance. This cut her hours, so she’s going a week without pay until more are found.
I finished my mandatory OT a few weeks ago but also wanted to catch up on recent games. Making money has been a bigger priority than streaming, especially with our vacation at the end of December. I don’t know when I’ll be back to normal, but until then I need more side work to pay bills and save for the vacation.
I appreciate those who stop by. I like streaming, but it doesn’t cover my plans. I don’t know when I’ll return, but thank you for keeping up with me.
Got through the first level of Wolverine. Combat is fun and reminds me of Ninja Gaiden 4. Writing so far is very meh. Mystique feels very phoned in and doesn’t feel like her at all. The early 2000s version of her seems more badass and cool; this one feels meh but that makes sense with the way marvel wrote her now to be lame as fuck. Sabertooth and Logan are alright, but the guy who plays Essex is really good so far with a room-commanding performance.

So, basically, 500 million Europeans expect 300 million Americans to protect them from 120 million Russians who can’t even defeat 40 million Ukrainians while those 500 million Europeans don’t even realize they are being conquered by 2 billion Muslims who claim they are being persecuted by 8 million Israelis. Here's what Thorson had to say about the matter on BlueSky: "For those who’re asking, yes we delisted Celeste and TowerFall on XBox. We did this to support the BDS boycott."
