Nothing for a pair, not in this game…
Nice quite road here today
Sent in from a follower.
Empty roads and more illegal cyclists on the pavement
How much money did OCC waste on active travel so far?
@matthewbarberUK we show the evidence, @TVP_Oxfordshire do nothing about it @TheOxfordMail turn a blind eye
It’s time to take a tough stance on these law breakers. Licence Plates fir all cycles mandatory
Another law breaker @matthewbarberUK @TVP_Oxfordshire
Quite road, no reasonable excuse for breaking the law, just because she can?
Registration Plate would make her accountable for breaking the law
@TheOxfordMail
3 for the price of 1…
Whose fault would it have been we wonder if that pedestrian was killed by 1 of those 3 illegal cyclists?
Let’s here all your excuses here why all 3 had to put the pedestrians life at risk and break the law
@matthewbarberUK what’s your view on this?
@TVP_Oxfordshire this needs to stop. Cyclists have to be accountable for their actions Registration plates should be mandatory for all cycles
@TheOxfordMail
Plain madness on the Plain, another illegal cyclist caught on the pavement by a follower.
All that money spent of cycleways and cyclists choose not to use them and break the law instead.
A licence plate would hold this law breaker to account @matthewbarberUK
@TVP_Oxfordshire
Pavements are for people, right?
Unless you’re an entitled cyclist, then rules do not apply.
@matthewbarberUK please look into this and look into the people that defend this illegal activity
Rule 64 of the Highway Code states:
“You MUST NOT cycle on a pavement.”
It cites section 72 of the Highways Act 1835 as the legal basis in England and Wales. This is a legal requirement.
WA-HAN-KA if the day-2
@matthewbarberUK
Please look into the continuing blatant illegal cyclists who put themselves and other road users in danger. Also read and make note of the comments from the lefties who think they have privilege and the law doesn’t apply to them
Highway Code Rule 68 says cyclists MUST NOT:
“ride in a dangerous, careless or inconsiderate manner”
The academic mile, where common sense is something that can’t be learned.
Keep sending your footage to us, we will call illegal and dangerous cyclists out
Saturday morning WA-HAN-KA
Every road user needs to be accountable, insurance, licence, mot, road fund licence and registration plate for ALL bikes
@matthewbarberUK
@TVP_Oxfordshire
@TheOxfordMail
This is just plain stupid.
Arrant privileged whatever you want to call it it’s blatant law breaking and needs enforcement.
@matthewbarberUK something needs to be done
@TVP_Oxfordshire
How/why are you ignoring this?
@TheOxfordMail you should be reporting on illegal activities such as this
Dangerous junction in the academic mile where cyclists jump red lights regularly and pedestrians cross on green lights,
WA-HAN-KA of the week goes to…
@matthewbarberUK illegal cyclists in Oxford are dangerous and something needs to be done to make sure these unaccountable cyclists are made accountable
@TheOxfordMail you should be reporting on this
@cycloxoxford you should be ashamed of yourselves to advocate illegal cyclists in Oxford
@TVP_Oxfordshire you need to be out policing this illegal activity
Road danger of the week goes to…..
@TVP_Oxfordshire you are turning a blind eye to this level of road crime in Oxford.
@matthewbarberUK
We need a crackdown on cyclists here in Labour/Lib Dem administration run Oxford and Oxfordshire
There needs to be licensing laws made mandatory for ALL cyclists to have the equivalent of what motorists have to have.
Insurance
Licence
Mot
Road fund licence
And PPE including lights
A registration plate
All made law.
@TheOxfordMail you should be reporting on blatant road crime
@cycloxoxford is this what you stand for, illegal cycling?
@OxLivSts Is this your utopia, road danger by cyclists?
Empty unused cycling spaces on both sides of the road is not going to stop active traveller, pedestrians get out of the way there is an entitled pedalist carving their way through
#pavementsforpeople
Rule 64 of the Highway Code states:
“You MUST NOT cycle on a pavement.”
Today’s WA-HAN-KA award of the day goes to this trilogy of idiots
Rule 71 of the Highway Code, under “Rules for cyclists”, states:
“you MUST NOT cross the stop line when the traffic lights are red.”
This applies at traffic-light junctions and cycle-only crossings. It is a legal requirement, backed by section 36 of the Road Traffic Act 1988 and the Traffic Signs Regulations.
Where there is an advanced cycle stop box, cyclists may cross the first line to enter it on red, but must not cross the final stop line.
The relevant guidance is Rule 66, which says cyclists should:
“not carry anything which will affect your balance or may get tangled up with your wheels or chain”
