So, after all, it has been confirmed that TraffiTech is all about money. The contract was signed on December 23, 2022, under Akufo-Addo’s NPP administration. Even with all the revenue being generated, the government will only receive 60%, while the private operator takes 40%. If TraffiTech collects GH₵500 million in fines, the private operator’s contractual share will be GH₵200 million before expenses. We allowed a private company to use its own money to buy and install cameras while we spent our money buying V8 vehicles and houses for politicians, only to give that company a share of Ghana’s revenue for 11 years, when we could have funded the project ourselves. The NDC then went ahead and implemented this crazy plan in the name of road safety. The NPP and NDC are the same. Both parties have contributed to making Ghana what it is today. ORAL was all a big lie!
