Andrew Scott reveals how a two-hour conversation about love, life and religion with Phoebe Waller-Bridge helped inspire his iconic 'Hot Priest' character in Fleabag. After the first season became a hit, Phoebe approached Andrew about playing a new character. The two went for a walk around Soho, eventually spending two hours talking inside a Quaker meeting hall, and that conversation became part of the story. Andrew Scott: “We sat in there for about two hours and we just talked about love and life, and then she incorporated it into the story.” “I sort of signed up to it with no script. She's so brilliant that she just incorporates things and, you know, that amazing mind is always at work.” Olivia Colman: “I remember my girlfriends just going, ‘Oh my God, that priest. I'm having awful thoughts about him.’”

Oha. Ein frische, neue Infos dabei.
Sigourney Weaver says she is an English major nerd who always has notes for the director and you can’t leave the room without hearing what she thinks "I am actually really an English major nerd. And when I meet a director and I’ve read the script, if I like it, I’m obviously I’m going to meet the director. I often have a lot to suggest to him to make it stronger. You can’t get out of the room without hearing what I think" "especially in terms of structure and character. You can’t get out of the room without hearing what I think" "I think actually I’ve been hired a little bit for that because they know that you’re going to take care of that area, that character. There aren’t going to be inconsistencies, that I’m going to fix all of I’m going to at least point it out. And I love that responsibility" "The more you can strengthen the structure of the script so that it’s almost just unbeatable, the better chance you have of making a good movie"

Somewhere, in a universe next to ours, a man who looks very much like Patrick Stewart wakes up from a long strange dream and begins playing the flute.

An iconic clip one just has to post every now & again. The late great OLIVER REED gives Paul Heiney an Acting lesson in a sequence from the 1985 BBC documentary series ‘In At The Deep End’.

This was on TV all the time when I was a kid. Always late at night: 1972's Emmy Award-winning La Cabina (The Telephone Box), from Spanish director Antonio Mercero. Even edited, once seen, it stays with you forever. 🎃📞😱
