I built a website thing for myself. It's nothing special or fancy. I plan (hope) to write regular blog posts. Check it out: richardwillis.info/

Hello Mr Blue Sky ☀️
Here's your bank holiday Monday forecast 😎 (for England, Wales and Northern Ireland)
Wood Pigeon nesting in my small tree getting battered by blustery winds for the past couple of days. I tried to prevent this pigeon nesting here but now that it's happend I'm totally rooting for it.
Foxglove growth, +-2 months. It has awoken from winter hibernation! It'll certainly flower this summer. Hoping for 7ft+
First sunflower potted out. Cool temps expected next week so let's see. Got this sunflower from a random house/cottage on Holy Island: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lind…

Thrilled to announce... devblogs.microsoft.com/types…
Although still very much winter and chilly, we're getting some nice sunny days, and I managed to get a little sunburnt today. Went for a looong walk (30km) over the Yorkshire Moors and finally got some much needed sun. Coming back I went through some extremely boggy sections!
Foxglove I transplanted in October last year. Lots of dead leaves due to frost and snow which is normal but otherwise it's looking good and will probably flower this summer.
I know it doesn't look like much this Shasta Daisy has remained green & healthy throughout the winter. At one point it was covered in thick snow for a few days. It is so ready to push out some massive flowers when the sun arrives.
First early hints of spring are starting to show. Snowdrops are out in full force, crocuses and daffodils will be flowering soon if not already. Lots of my bulbs have popped up including a few of my alliums which I'm most excited for!
