Delighted (and somewhat taken aback) to see that my book about #Málaga is currently #3 on the amazon.com 'Andalusia Travel Guides' bestseller list. I'm very happy to play 3rd fiddle to the mighty @RickSteves and Chris Stewart from Genesis.

My iPhone reminds me of this photo from 4yrs ago - morning after Notre-Dame fire. The cross reflected the light in the ruin in way I could scarcely believe was real. It was. I was on Easter hols and sent to Freddy Gray who was editing. His instinct was to change covers… (1/3)

Forecast is good...come to Lewes on Sunday for a day out! (I'll be doing a talk about why Brexit hasn't turned out so brilliantly), but more importantly, what can be done to fix it...

A corporate lawyer sharing with an investment banker is no longer a good enough combined income to buy a house in London.
This is how insane the property market has become.
If you don’t have a wealthy family able to buy a significant chunk of your house for you, you’re screwed.

I wasn’t expecting to post again for a while, but I’ve been slightly taken aback by the number of messages. Your support means a lot to me at a testing time.
In fact it seems many of you already have my next move planned out before I’ve even thought about it!
For those who have messaged me privately I’ll get back to you when I can - but first I had to tackle a literal mountain, after just falling short on the metaphorical one.

Got to say I enjoyed the BBC interview with Javier Milei.
He likes the Rolling Stones. And after saying how much he liked Margaret Thatcher, giving an intelligent answer when asked about the Falklands War, he was asked if he liked Liz Truss. His answer: Who?

1/ Can George Grundy drive? Yes, because we heard him doing so. But can he drive legally? 🧵
Plenty have asked this question on #TheArchers Twitter, and the answer is that we don't know for sure. But:
George was brought up on a farm. Most kids like him will have been driving
3/ the public highway. There are two ways to get a Cat F licence — it's automatic when you get a Cat B (car) licence, or you can take a stand-alone tractor test. This test can be taken at 16 — probably something an agricultural student like George would have done.
4/ and it seems that we *do* know that he has a licence (Cat B!): xitter.cf/MDut21/status/17871994…
Replying to @sarah_mattocks
He can drive.
Brad (who I believe) said he could and then George asked to borrow and promptly used the van in his to get his ‘Asian Turkeys’.

Chris is being uncharacteristically understanding. Rather impressive. #TheArchers
