New (for kidney) kid in the block! Crovalimab (approved for PNH) shown to have great efficacy and safety from Commute-a; ~60% have complete TMA response AND nearly 100% coming off of dialysis! Presented by @DrBradleyDixon **Slide from Dr. Palma session
Humble to present our work about comprehensive renal hematological treatment and outcomes of CLL and renal pathology and our proposed concept of CLL of renal significance @LadanZand @Justaglomerular #ASN2026 #kidneyweek2026 @onconephsociety
Great talk by @rc_oncneph about how to manage PGNMID! Excited for his upcoming work. #ASN2026 #kidneyweek2026 @onconephsociety
Is MGMID an outdated term? Perhaps, SAP (with proper IF technique) would be reasonable one?! A great talk by @Tiff_Caza for this MGRS mimicker. #kidneyweek2026 #ASN
Thank you ASN for the great opportunity to moderate a session dear to my heart: TMA. Thanks my co-moderator @nymurakami and a panel of wonderful speakers as well as the esteemed audience! #kidneyweek2026 #ASN
Familiar withMGRS? How about CLL of renal significance? Delighted to present our work on this concept at ASN 2026! See you at 4.30-6.00 PM 10/23/26. More details below ⬇️ @LadanZand @onconephsociety
Join us on at 10.30-12.30 on 10/23/26 for the ABC’s in TMA. Lots of updates about TMA from pathology, nomenclature, classifications and treatments 😇@nymurakami @MPAlexanderMD @kdjhaveri @JohnSperati @Nester1Carla
Glad to be part of aHUS foundation conference this year along with @DrBradleyDixon appreciate enthusiasm and great questions from participants! Lots of unmet needs still esp in patient reported outcomes. #ahus #tma #thromboticmicroangiopathy
Wow! Such a great advancement! When I was in Medical school, I was taught that MM is incurable disease. Thanks to the science! 🧬
We have a cure definition for myeloma.
Requires:
1) Off all therapy and sustained MRD negative for 5 years
2) Negative imaging studies
Presented by @NikhilMunshiMD #IMS26 @Myeloma_Society
Note:
1) We need to see how this definition performs. Relapse rate for patients meeting these cure criteria must ideally be less than 5%. If not, we may have to adjust the criteria.
2) I hope the cure criteria will be the impetus to stop doing trials with endless therapy. You cannot claim cure with continuous therapy. I’m glad the field is mostly aligned on this.
Cure for patients and public in any disease has a deep meaning. Cure means cure. We cannot dilute it.
Had a wonderful time moderating IgAN discussion session tonight with the legend @fervenzaf – at Wayzata, MN
Honored to received an KI-ISN early career research award and excited to attend WCN in Yokohama, Japan this March. Thanks 🙏 @LadanZand @UMNews @ISNkidneycare

Double trouble for membranous nephropathy! Dual-Ag MN have been reported: some co exist with PLA2R1. Nearly 90% of cases have hematuria. Further questions remain: how do these patients differ clinically in terms of clinical characteristics, severity or outcomes? @ASNKidney

Key take away from Dr. Nasr’ s talk about Cryo GN (one of my fav MGRS).
- Type 2 Cryo is the most common type, HCV being the most common.
- Non-HCV type 2 cryo, still has sizable association with lymphoproliferative d/o>> so attempt to rule this out is suggested ✅🩸 #KidneyWk
Another positive Phase 3 trial of Hit 1 targeted therapy. Awaiting to hear the FDA decision about drug approval by this December so stay tuned. #KidneyWk #IgAN
Presented at #KidneyWk:
In an interim analysis, sibeprenlimab, a humanized IgG2 monoclonal antibody that inhibits the proliferation-inducing ligand APRIL (a key driver of IgA nephropathy), reduced proteinuria as compared with placebo. Full VISIONARY phase 3 trial results: nej.md/493Xtza

Great talk by Dr. Falk re: Longterm remission of therapy (LTROT) in ANCA asso GN. Ultimate goal that we should aim for.
-1/3 of ANCA pt achieved this
-risk of relapse decreases with time(10-15% first 1-2 years, 1-2%/yr post 2 y). #KidneyWk
Thank you 🙏 for all who visit our poster today 😇 Hypomagnesemia..an overlooking electrolytes. #KidneyWk #ASN2025 @onconephsociety
Atacicept, double BAFF and APRIL blockade, has shown promising result and met primary endpoint for UPCR reduction at 36 weeks in ORIGIN 3. Excited for the 2 years data of eGFR slope in a couple years. In 5 years, we perhaps have at least 10 FDA approved drugs for IgAN. #KidneyWk
