Elated that "Le rat d'égout" has won the "Grand Prix Du Roman Gay Traduit 2023" in France. The Grand Prize for the best translated gay novel in this year. I'm honored, and will forever cherish this 🩵💛💚

Finally finished @basrinuril books!, and I’m honestly blown away by how it captures the vibrant, messy, and deeply real lives of Indonesian queer. The bond between these characters is everything, and seeing their found family navigate the unique pressures of our local culture with such resiliencewas both heartbreaking and incredibly validating.
Two young men start taking odd jobs from strangers to avoid thinking and grieving. Fellow Freaks, a transgressive novel born in the pandemic and longlisted for the Epigram Books Fiction Prize 2023, is available as an ebook everywhere for $2.99

Writing novels should belong to me and you too. I say this because socio-economic conditions have been, and still are, a barrier to the creative industries. That’s why I’m very grateful to the @Soc_of_Authors for supporting my work in progress. This means so much. #SoAGrants
