DEVELOPING: You Can See Everything (🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟) is experiencing a historic box office surge, pushing away the usual sophomore drop-off seen in theaters. Backed by an expansion from 855 to 2,655 screens, the Nathan Fielder-Lance Oppenheim documentary brought in $6.1 million on its second Friday, breaking the all-time record for the highest second-Friday gross for a documentary in North American history. I think this movie has legs for a Best Picture Run at the Oscars.

🎬 Recorded in December 1964, this unforgettable two-minute performance was captured in one unedited take—no cuts, no tricks, just pure talent. Every note had to be perfect. Decades later, its raw authenticity remains captivating. ✨

Couldn’t agree more. One of the truly great voices who still doesn’t get the recognition she deserves.

No matter how many times I hear her, her voice still leaves me speechless. She had one of the most extraordinary singing voices in music history.

You paid to end slavery. 🇬🇧
Britain borrowed twenty million pounds to free 800,000 people in 1833. 💷
The last of it was paid off in 2015. Your taxes. Your parents’. Your grandparents’. 👨👩👧
Then sixty years of warships hunting slave ships. 150,000 people freed. ⚓

On September 18, 1988, Luciano Pavarotti gave a charity recital at the Metropolitan Opera House (Lincoln Center, New York), which was broadcast live. James Levine, then Artistic Director of the Met, accompanied him on the piano. “Nessun Dorma” was not part of the main program but performed as an encore near the end, leaving the entire audience breathless.
This is widely regarded as one of Pavarotti’s finest and most powerful renditions of “Nessun Dorma” while he was still at the peak of his powers.
