The Brewers have the best scouting staff in baseball and it is really not arguable.
A lot of teams are lost when it comes to evaluating and drafting Juco players because of inexperienced scouts that need data and tech to evaluate for them.
I have heard a lot of talk about providing junior colleges with technology. I have a profound idea that could be impactful. Hire experienced scouts that have enough moxie and feel to not require it when evaluating players. They can use their eyes and ears.
Real scouts know how to evaluate junior college players.

Picks up an RBI single here in his first at-bat as he drops one into shallow RCF for a hit.
Leaner, athletic build w/ some twitch.

None of the freshmen pitching for Oklahoma or North Carolina were even in the top 200 of the Perfect Game rankings, nor were they in the MLB Pipeline draft top 250.
Not regarded by scouting services, not wanted by pro teams...but they're on the verge of a championship

‘26 RHP/OF Brady Bushman (KY) was outstanding on the mound for @2027YallsElite, tossing a CG and earning the win. He allowed just 1 R over 7 IP while striking out 6 and walking 1. His FB/SL combo was fantastic, w/ the FB topping 88 w/ tail and holding 85-86 deep into the game. The upper 70s SL was a weapon, consistently getting whiffs while flashing plus. #WWBAOV @Brady_Bushman22 @govbaseball
