While yesterday was hard to say goodbye, it truly was a necessary step for this organization Colts fans. A rebuild like this needed to take place five years ago. And while there may be dark days ahead, I am optimistic and confident in Carly.

Gonna piss fans off, but this is the way to get a top 3 2028 1st round pick and finally get our franchise QB. All the while we build and get other necessary talent in 2027. Thats what I would do.
Don’t kill me. What if the Colts ran it back next year with Daniel Jones, prioritized EDGE, CB, & WR in the 2027 draft, then drafted a QB in 2028 when they have their first round pick??
I do not think DJ should be on this roster past the 2026 season.

A year ago at this time, the Colts were one day fresh off a 38-14 victory over the Titans to improve to 7-1 and were the best team in the league. Since then they are 3-13, have fired their GM, top WR out for year, QB sucks, and are in a fire sale. Wild.
Here’s my thing Colts fans. We probably did need a FULL roster rest. These guys have been here forever and it hasn’t worked for 10 years. But the sad part is that we never won ANYTHING with talent like Q, Buck, JT. Just sad.

Colts fans, I would not be surprised if this upcoming offseason during the draft/FA, that the new GM trades away Alec Pierce to get off that contract. I think Carly is in full tear down mode and wants basically everything that has been associated to the Ballard era out of Indy.
