10 years ago, @brynmw and I had a wish to build this community. You all showed up, taught us and each other, and grew with us. Thank you.
Tonight we close out an incredible decade of learning and connecting on #bcedchat.
Looking forward (with sadness) to our last #bcedchat It has been quite an amazing learning experience for me. Thank you to everyone I ever connected with through this. Our moderators have been amazing. After that first tweet with @MsVictoriaOlson 10 years ago, I thank you all

Why #bcedchat is retiring tonight:
Why is #bcedchat ending?
Participation levels.
In early days, we averaged 400 tweets per hour. Some chats featured 700+ tweets. Those were dynamic & engaging.
Lately, we average fewer than 100 tweets & moderators outnumbering participants.
We made hard decision to end.
