I mean, just an all-time TV segment. Making Chuck do Who He Play For multiple times in a row with the same players is a brilliant idea and I was legit crying laughing by the end, my god.

44 years ago today, Pat Summerall and John Madden called a Division-III college football game.
Wittenberg vs. Baldwin-Wallace
October 3, 1982
During the fall of '82, in the second week of the NFLPA's 57-day players' strike, CBS needed to get creative with its Sunday afternoon programming.
So on October 3, the network sent its top NFL broadcast team of Pat Summerall and John Madden to Springfield, Ohio to call Division-III Wittenberg's game against its rival Baldwin-Wallace — each school with an enrollment then of about 2,000 students.
Three other NFL on CBS broadcast teams were also assigned to call Division-III games that weekend.
Wittenberg, Baldwin-Wallace, and the Ohio Athletic Conference were each paid $10,000 for the game.
The video includes the CBS open and pregame introduction by Pat and John, the first several minutes of the game, and select highlights from this historic CBS broadcast.
A very rare and fascinating telecast — and quite a thrill for those players, coaches, students, and communities.

The link to this Google Doc has my person College Basketball Notes For the Upcoming Season. Some of this is a work in progress so bear with me, I may or may not complete every team but I’ll do my best. There is no charge to any of this, I am no longer with VSIN and these were the notes I was using to put together their yearly betting guide. If there’s a team I have yet to complete, send a message on my X timeline (avoid DMs, those are flooded) or email me ([email protected])
I'm through way more than 250 if not closer to 275 teams right now and have done work on 27 conferences thus far, & this doc has a tab for each individual conference.
If you're inclined to leave a tip, I left my links in the doc at the front, never any obligation to do so as I'd be doing this anyway to get set for the season, I do know some of you asked about that so I gave the option. This always has been and always will be free info so I wanted to deliver that with no longer doing their yearly betting guide.
Also open to any tips/suggestions on anything that might be missing from these notes right now.

We have a balance issue here! No problem with the set up….it’s not ideal for my suggestion, but here goes. Notice how this young fella falls outta frame upon completion of the swing? That’s bcuz he’s on his heels and swinging to the ‘east’. He’s too upright….tall hitters tend to fall toward the first base dugout. Get him to hinge at the waist so that his upper body is more over the plate and swing ‘north’. This will keep him off his heels. He can either start hinged at address or he can sink into it as pitch is being delivered ala Matt Olsen. Hope this helps…..
P.S.-Love the toe tap!
