Great day representing @CarolinasGCSA at home @LPGCncstate for the Art Bruneau Turfgrass Scholarship Tournament. Weather and company was spot on! Art was actually my advisor while I was in school and he was in the field today.

Carolinas GCSA just crossed 2,000 active members for the first time in 72 years — 2,003 as of Oct 1.
That milestone lands as the Nov 16–18 Conference & Trade Show in Myrtle Beach is already sold out on the trade floor, with a wait list and record partner support (55 companies).

Heck of a job by @CRLutzkeGolf and my team here @LPGCncstate to get our new 2nd green designed by @BAJohnson_GOLF built and sprigged in a short amount of time. Sodding wasn’t an option unfortunately with TifEagle sod unavailable. @NewLifeTurf1

Since this is a pre-order, all items will be processed and shipped together once the store closes, so expect a 4-6 week turnaround after the deadline.

After today's rain, 12.16" has fallen this month at RDU Airport. This makes July 2026 the 2nd-wettest July on record, only 0.20" from the wettest in 1931. This is more than what fell during the entire first 6 months of the year (11.88", the driest Jan-Jun period on record). #ncwx
So nice having 10 weeks closed this summer @LPGCncstate for our greens conversion. It is enabling us to complete important cultural practices on other playing surfaces that we typically do not have the opportunity to complete.
