When I first moved to L.A. in 2004, I took a job bagging groceries at a Ralph’s in the Palisades (destroyed in the 2025 wildfires). I needed health insurance, and I knew union grocery jobs could hook me up. Richard Tyson who plays the antagonist in this movie, would come shop there, and was very nice to me. We would chat about Black Hawk Down, as he had a small role, and my uncle wrote the book.
