I have no issue with him generally until today, so am confused by this. I genuinely don’t know why Joao has it in for Brighton fans. We bought him from the Championship, not any other PL clubs wanted him at the time. Arguably joining Brighton was his best career move. Gave him a platform in the PL with a good team. He even got in the Brazil squad whilst at Brighton (hasn’t made the squad since joining Chelsea). And we gave him the Billy big balls move he wanted to Chels with a tripled wage. So What’s he unhappy about? Some Brighton kids booing him today? Suck it up mate, why not have a bit of class.

But the way I'm saying, John, he can have two Champions Leagues now.” Rio: “To this day?” Makelele: “Because Kalou was the best penalty taker at this time at Chelsea.” Rio: “Was he? Wow. So why at that time didn't you say something?” Makelele: “No, I knew this later, because in the game, if I knew this, of course I would tell John, leave him, let Kalou take the ball. But you're concentrating, frustrated, we're at penalties, I'm focused on different things and it happens. But of course, he's my teammate.”
