The imprisonment was the trigger. The rest of this has to do with the lockdown and gvt telling people not to work without any form of support in a country where the gap between rich and poor is massive. So those that can defend themselves from looting are doing what they must.

Basically employers will be forced to raise wages to entice workers back. So the consensus inflation theme is still intact. More so now with today’s NFP
