Great to hear that the Whittington Maternity Unit has been saved! An excellent result from @IslingtonLabour and campaigners - well done to everyone involved in the campaign efforts!
Islington's Labour run council will always be on the side of Islington. No other political party in Islington campaigned for the option to keep the maternity unit at the Whittington open. Glad we won today and the future of Whittington maternity unit is secured. #OnYourSide 🌹

UCL East is a popular location for the new Government - Pat McFadden was there in December launching the test and learn trials! Further cement's UCL Policy Lab's role as playing a key role in helping to launch the new Government's policy priorities
How can we make developments in AI work for working people? Great to see the Prime Minister @Keir_Starmer set out the government’s plan at @UCL today, alongside inspiring scientists, medics, entrepreneurs and community leaders.
