Me: I’d love to see ol’ Luka Doncic wriggle his way out of THIS jam!
Luka: *wriggles out of jam easily*
Me: ah, well! Nevertheless,

This is exactly what people suspect Salesforce is like.
Latest (and probably penultimate) Building Slack post is up: buildingslack.com/salesforce…
What it's like being eaten by the whale
Well, it certainly wasn't what I predicted, but I also underestimated how limited Jaxson Hayes would be. It will be interesting to see what the Jazz do to try to disrupt Walker Kessler

I swear I won't do this after every game, but since I did a "random thoughts" notebook after the loss, felt like I should do the same after Utah's clutch W over NOP.
JJJ's big fourth, Key's two-way play, Hayes' energy, and real stuff from the kiddos:

Joe Mazzulla says the Celtics analytics staff studied situations where teams led by at least 20 over the last decade.
He says that when you’re up by 20 in today’s game, not only is growing that to 30 not a realistic expectation, but due to variance, you’re really up by 15.
It will most likely shrink to 6 or 7. It comes down to how you then handle that situation.
I don’t feel *great* about a one point win at home against the New Orleans Pelicans, but a win is a win. DP had the winning FTs? Good on ya, rookie.
Hearing that some Jazz fans were upset that Will Hardy wasn't angrier about Wednesday's loss. If so, they are wrong. You can only play the "grrrr I'm a pissed off coach" card so many times before it loses its efficacy. He should absolutely NOT be playing that card after game one.
If product managers are engineers now because of AI, does that mean we get to wear shorts to work in February?
Discussing with some friends whether Nurkic would have made a difference in this game. I now think the "second-order effects" of having Nurk start speak to what is going wrong with the Jazz tonight. He'd have helped with some of the things that are leading to the problems.
This may be a galaxy-brain take, but it's great that Jazz fans are watching this game wanting to win and *expecting* to win without the smallest degree of internal conflict, and feeling completely disappointed by effort and execution instead of saying "ah, well, the tank."
I'm also surprised to see that the Jazz "only" have 13 turnovers. It feels like 20. Pretty inexcusable stuff tbh from guys like Keyonte and Lauri.
I was a big fan of Ty Jerome in Cleveland but he has morphed into Bubble Jamal Murray tonight and I'm starting to feel that it is too much
It FEELS like the Grizzlies are shooting better than the 44% that they are shooting from three in this first half. I'd have guessed 60%. A lot of open looks on the perimeter. We knew this would be something to watch for the Jazz defensively.
