It was an honour to represent @ThisisRiverside last night on what was a tough evening for all connected with @AFCWimbledon. I only met Mikey a few times, he was very warm and welcoming towards me and my colleagues. No one knew and loved the club like he did. He will be missed.
🎙️ Before last night’s @AFCWimbledon vs @barnetfc live commentary 🗣️ Riverside Radio sports editor @benjaminheys paid tribute to the much-loved voice of Wimbledon, Michael ‘Mikey T’ Taliadoros. A few heartfelt words before the game began. 💙💛 #AFCW #AFCWimbledon #Wimbledon #SouthWestLondon

Bournemouth’s excellence should not be overlooked in all the inevitable forensic frenzy over Manchester United’s shambles. Deserved 3-0 winners at Old Trafford. 5-0 would not have flattered them. They targeted United's weaknesses - openness in midfield, lack of belief, pace and concentration at the back. Bournemouth superior in every department to United, including off the field in recruitment and general running of a club. Bournemouth's starting XI at Old Trafford cost only £169.5m. How much is the MOTM Rayan worth now? At least double the £24m Bournemouth paid for him. Or James Hill, who cost them £1.6m. Superb today. Or Evanilson, Bournemouth’s goal machine, the king of Brazil, the No 9 who scored one of the goals of the month, and was relentless in his pursuit of the ball and pressing United’s creaking defence. Cost £31m; worth double now. At least. Or the widely-coveted Junior Kroupi returning from injury. Cost Bournemouth £12m; already featured in £80m headlines. Smart recruitment. Good characters as well as good characters. Good performances throughout. Again. Four wins on the spin, four clean sheets in a row, 11 goals scored. Players fitting into Marco Rose’s tweaking of the successful system he inherited; more breaking at pace through the middle as well as wing-play. Board’s appointment of Rose looking shrewd. Well-run team, well-run club 🙌 #AFCB🍒

Bournemouth star Junior Kroupi has shared a heartwarming moment with Alex Cooper, a much-loved member of the club’s staff, as the pair got matching cherry tattoos! 🥹❤️ Alex works as a kitchen assistant at AFC Bournemouth and is a hugely popular figure among the players and staff. He was also named Players’ Player of the Season for the club’s Down syndrome team last year. 👏 Kroupi and Alex have formed a special friendship, and their matching tattoos are a brilliant way to celebrate their bond. A really lovely story! ❤️

Hang it in the Louvre. A perfectly weighted delivery and a phenomenal header linking Bournemouth's current longest servant and our most expensive signing. A goal made in history and the future

It's bold, but I don't mind it. Evanilson in the 10 behind Rodriguez, love Gannon-Doak's inclusion and pleased to rest a few. The bench is strong should we need them 🍒 #afcb

Surprised they're not putting a photo of Sir Alex and his trophies on a billboard saying Welcome to Manchester! Gotta love the housery
Manchester United fans will welcome back the historic Stretford End ‘ticker’ for Saturday’s home game against Tottenham Hotspur. The flag first appeared hanging from the newly built upper tier of the Stretford End in 2000 with ‘24 YEARS’ — marking when rivals Manchester City had last won a trophy, their 1976 League Cup triumph — but was taken down after City won the FA Cup in 2011, by which time it had risen to ‘35 YEARS’. 📝 @AndyMitten 🔗 nyti.ms/4hQe4ZQ

I agree with lots of what's been said on the Man City charges and potential sanctions; points deductions, transfer bans etc but they need to miss out on sponsorship money too. That was a big proponent in the "sham" scheme. Cut off the supply so they can't do that again
