This would put accusations of antisemitism in the same collectivist category as anti-racism.
Thought experiment:
To prove racism, you'd have to demonstrated that discrimination happens only due to race. That requires pairs of people identical in every aspect except race to be competing for the same scarce resource and turned down.
Even then, randomly, you could get multiple false positives in a row.
Also, to really exclude racism, you'd need a group of identical people including EVERY race possible.
This means that given there are 7 race groups, at least 14% of a company's employees have to be native Americans or pacific islanders or Alaska natives to prove a lack of racism used in hiring criteria. Well, you need to hire all of them in the same amount.
This also means a business cannot have less than 5-7 people.
Anti-racism is probably the most collective ideology that exists.
It's immoral due to being devastating economically.
On top of that, races are considered social constructs since there's only 1 human race, making racism impossible.

Bueno, por lo mismo, nunca fueron libertarios. Por otro lado, dudo de calificar a los presidentes de derecha en América Latina (y si vamos a eso, en el mundo) como más fascistas que los de izquierda, o a los de izquierda como más socialistas que los de derecha. Son esencialmente lo mismo, unos más conservadores, otros más progresistas. Y prácticamente todos los modelos económicos son copiados de USA, que es básicamente fascista por lo menos desde Franklin D. Roosevelt. Los libertarios realmente sí han criticado siempre al fascismo, como lo hicieron Rothbard y también lo hace Hoppe.
Por otro lado, de la misma forma que podemos calificar ciertas guerras y ciertos crímenes como peores que otros, creo que, aunque haya que oponerse radicalmente al fascismo, comparar los crímenes del fascismo con los de el comunismo es una exageración. El comunismo claramente tuvo muchas más víctimas. Ambos son variantes del socialismo (en realidad, TODO estado lo es, praxeológicamente), pero equiparar los crímenes de uno con el otro es un error historiográfico.
Sí, el latinoamericano promedio no ha leído ni 5 páginas de libertarismo. Pero repudiar a Hoppe no hará ningún bien. Hoppe está contribuyendo al desarrollo de una historia revisionista libertaria. El revisionismo histórico es una consecuencia lógica tanto de la praxeología y la relación entre teoría e historia tal como la desarrolló Mises, como de la filosofía política anti-estatista del libertarismo. Y Hoppe es el defensor más coherente y más completo del libertarismo que hay. Sin duda el mayor pensador vivo del libertarismo, o mejor aún, del austrolibertarismo, e históricamente en peso y relevancia de contribuciones sólo lo superan Mises y Rothbard. De hecho, nadie ha ofrecido una mejor justificación del libertarismo que Hoppe a través de su Ética de la Argumentación, que Rothbard correctamente calificó como uno de los mayores logros en la historia del pensamiento social. Prácticamente lo compararía con los logros epistemológicos y en sistematización de los fundamentos de la economía que realizó Mises.

Since I frequently engage with libertarians and recently hosted a philosophical discussion involving Hoppe, I want to clarify something about the ”so-called Holocaust“ controversy.
I’m always open to discussing philosophical ideas, regardless of their origins. I also have no objection to political criticism of Israel. But I have no desire to associate with or continue discussions with people who knowingly promote Holocaust denial or distortion, including the kinds of claims Hoppe makes in this video. I consider this a fairly self-evident moral boundary that requires no further justification.
I don’t assume that everyone who admires Hoppe shares these views. Furthermore, it’s certainly legitimate to appreciate his philosophical ideas without endorsing the kinds of claims he’s making here.
In fact, my own primary philosophical interest at the moment is the work of Martin Heidegger, who famously joined the Nazi Party and held antisemitic views. I consider Heidegger a morally contemptible human being, yet also a great philosopher whose work I deeply admire.
I think it is possible, and even advisable, to distinguish the philosophical significance of someone’s ideas from the moral character of the person who developed them. But this distinction should not come at the expense of intellectual responsibility and moral judgment.
