AI promises superabundance. But for whom? The singularity, the superposition and the swarm. A fight over who owns the intelligence weβll all depend on. The Event Horizon. Act III of Survival of the Sovereign.

Jensen closed his GTC Berlin 2026 keynote with this Hermes Agent demo as the finale.
He introduced it by saying the way to build an agent is to ask an agent to build it for you, so he installed and set up a customized Hermes in one prompt.
Then he used Hermes, running on @nvidia RTX Spark, to create a simulated training environment for the @huggingface Microduck. Hermes planned an obstacle course with Nemotron and had GPT-6 Astra build it using FreeCAD, Omniverse libraries, Blender, Newton, and Isaac Lab. Hermes trained thousands of simulated ducks on that course until the validated policy was ready to run on the real robot in the physical world.
At Nous, we believe open source is a practical tool as much as a philosophical ideal. It gives users the ability to build powerful, complex workflows chaining numerous local+cloud models, devices, and tools themselves instead of waiting for a company to enable them.

βCompute is extremely non-fungible.β That line alone should convince you to read this excellent piece by @CooperVeit3
"The man who does not use computation cannot compete with the man who avails himself of its secrets. No hedge fund can price second order effects faster than a 200-megawatt Jane Street data center. No lone genius can produce a better language model than Anthropic."

Stablecoins are evolving from simply holding value to putting that value to work, and @realfi_co's two-token model is built for that shift:
Diversified real-world yield, real utility, and a more productive stablecoin economy.
Read more. π
RESEARCH: The addressable market for diversified real-world-yield stablecoins, the segment @realfi_co is building $USDrf in, sits at roughly $654M today.
Its size is a function of three variables: total stablecoin supply, the productive share of that supply, and the diversified RWA share of the productive segment.

Cardano stablecoin market cap just crossed $70m. Tiny compared to other ecosystems, but it means something because this wasn't built on outside VC money or foundation subsidies.
It came from the Treasury and the ecosystem's own resources.
Last June I wrote that Cardano's stablecoin supply was far too small relative to its DeFi ecosystem.
It was $31.75m then. It's more than doubled since. 31% of that came in the last 30 days alone, with $USDCx now making up 63% of the total as the anchor, and @realfi_co $USDrf passing $5m within two weeks of launch.
Stablecoin supply now exceeds DeFi TVL. What matters more is that the conditions for growth are far better than they were. With USDCx integrated and the CIP-113 standard now merged, there's a path for regulated stablecoins to come to Cardano.
Cardano is slow, but it keeps changing.
I think that, to support the growth of #Cardano DeFi ecosystem, stablecoin liquidity needs to increase significantly.
1/
As shown below, when comparing the stablecoin market cap to DeFi TVL, Cardano lags far behind other chains. Cardano sits at just 10.7%, while Ethereum and L2 chains like Arbitrum all exceed 100%.

I am delighted to announce the launch of Metis Reasoning, a new AI company I have founded with a team of researchers, mathematicians, robotics experts and entrepreneurs.
We are pursuing a different approach to general and embodied AI reasoning: developing systems that can establish what they know, test conclusions against evidence and learn to reason more effectively through experience.
Alongside today's launch, we are publishing The Age of Reasoning, a white paper setting out the research foundations of our approach and what we believe the next generation of AI could look like.
I will also be discussing these ideas @NVIDIAGTC in Berlin today, alongside researchers exploring new approaches to AI.

I truly believe that the optimal way forward is embracing a Dark Age Mindset. This means:
- Embracing Decline as Opportunity.
When the foundations of familiar institutions are shaken, it's a signal to us to stop investing so much effort and dependence on those things, and create new alternatives that actually serve us as people and communities.
-Cultivating Resilient Character and Faith.
The folks who did this before were not weak, fragile, or wishy-washy. Get hard.
-Preserve and Transmit Knowledge.
If institutions that have historically been responsible for this (looking at you, media and schools) are failing, then it's another opportunity for us to step into decentralized roles as stewards of cultural patrimony, preserving literacy, classical texts, and traditions and educating our own children with this heritage to ensure continuity in a potentially post-literate or tech-degraded world.
-Pursuing Self-Sufficiency and Simplicity.
"Ora et labora" was the motto that drove that age forward and upward. But they showed us that simplicity needn't be minimalist or ugly; some of the most durable and beautiful things ever made came from these times.
-Reject Dooming and Be Proactive.
No despair. Instead, simplify your processes, improve your skills, and meet your challenges vigorously.
-Foster Creativity in Adversity.
Necessity is the mother of invention.
But the human person is not merely mechanical; we need beauty, music, good stories, living rituals, significance... Cultivate these things especially in the face of monopolized artificiality.
-Focus on Local and Subsidiarist Action.
Subsidiarity is handling matters at the smallest, most local level possible; create "schools for service" (as Benedict did) that prioritize family, home culture, nature, and education over distant, failing institutions. The more responsibility you take up over all the spheres of your living experience, the more you step into sovereignty.
This is why I harp on the "Dark Ages" so much. We already have a template of how these kinds of civilizational declines/collapses go. This is a main theme of St. Augustine's "City of God". The times may indeed seem dark, but what our ancestors showed us is that they can be times of incredible creativity, valor, and building the foundations for a whole new order to rise out of the ashes.
The "Dark Ages" were the ones that gave us so many heroes, saints, and stories. This was the age of King Arthur, Charlemagne, Charles Martel, the Book of Kells, Beowulf, Theoderic the Great, St. Benedict, Alfred the Great, Mont St. Michel, Aachen, Rheims cathedral, Saumur castle, Montecassino Abbey, etc. The list goes on and on. The cities of the empire had decayed; Rome was a wasteland and Constantinople was a hive of corruption hemorrhaging influence and stability faster than they could hire mercenaries. It was the Irish in the rural monasteries who preserved classical texts, the Franks and Saxons in their hilltop castles and burgs that crafted laws and refashioned social orders, it was Visigothic knights who carved out footholds while Flemish and Baltic craftsmen created works of art. The collapse of a bloated, bureaucratic imperial structure is not the end of all things; it is an opportunity for people of faith, resilient character, and creative boldness to apply themselves to build something better.
Where we are now is not yet full-on civilizational collapse, but that's not such a far-off and improbable condition for us to imagine. So prepare accordingly. This can be a great time to be alive if you meet the challenges we face and will face in the future the way these people did. Dooming is not an option; figure out how to do what you need to do simpler and better. Educate your children so they're intimate with the tremendous patrimony that was built for them with such great effort and sacrifice. Just like the Irish scholars had to virtually preserve literacy in Greek and Latin in the West, we may find ourselves tasked with preserving literacy in English in a post-smartphone and post-AI world!

Bullish on decentralised infrastructure.
Iβm writing a series called Survival of the Sovereign, arguing that open tech will win out in the intelligence revolution. Because, technology is an ecology, and sovereignty is a selection pressure for individuals, institutions and states alike.
I explore why that desire for sovereignty leads to decentralised infrastructure winning. I also explore why the counter-revolution and information insurgency are inevitable responses to attempts to enclose AI.

Blockenfy commits to RealFi (@realfi_co) with the largest enterprise deployment to date. π΅
Today, we are increasing our investment in RealFi by 2.5x. It follows a philosophy we hold to: bring value to the network first, then build something together, not the other way around.
This is thanks to the incredible reception from the @Cardano community and the strong support of ambassadors Mauro and Lucas. They believed in us from the start and shared their vision on RWAs and blockchain, a passion passed on to them by Charles Hoskinson (@IOHK_Charles). Together, they have helped us reaffirm a firmer commitment.
We believe in the value of our word and in doing things right.

Rebuilding my OODA harness in Hermes @NousResearch as I migrate from Codex/Claude to establish a greater degree of sovereignty over my intelligence has been surprisingly rewarding.
