How about this... You and I have an MMA/BJJ competition and the person who loses has to leave X for 6 months? I'll pay for the hosting site and the filming. Only way to win is to make the other person admit to the camera that they were wrong. I'll pay for all of the set up.

Gulf Shores, Alabama is basically the Monaco of North America
Few understand that you can buy a beachfront condo on one of the most beautiful beaches ON THE PLANET... ...for about $400k. Make money putting it on Airbnb? Probably not. I spent last week in Gulf Shores, AL But man the weather and beach is perfect. Clear water, white sand. Insurance? Monthly fees? That's another story entirely...

Highly dependent on the situation, what the earnout is tied to (Rev, GP, retention), whether the owner remains, and for how long.
When you sell your business, never ever agree on an earn out Always get it in cash! I know lots of horror stories of earn outs and have always rejected them

A business owner automating customer intake discovers the AI tool works great. The routing is accurate. The classification is clean. Three months in, the team is spending more time managing the automation than they did handling intake manually. The problem: - Bot output requires human review anyway - Each output still needs formatting before it reaches the next system - Documentation about what the automation actually does takes months to build and maintain - Handoffs between the automated step and the next team member create new bottlenecks Instead, by hiring an Ai implementation agency (like suntex labs), the business owner received a hands free agentic workflow. The AI system didn't just extract data. It connected directly to their CRM, pushed qualified leads straight into the pipeline, and flagged exceptions that needed human eyes before they reached the team. Setup took longer upfront. The payoff was immediate. Intake processing dropped from 20 minutes per customer to 4.

Claude and other models aren't interchangeable tools. The difference matters for how you structure an AI workflow in your business. Also, you don’t need Opus or Fable to write an email. Save your tokens for more complex tasks.

A business owner implementing AI into workflow: Start with one repetitive task the team does weekly. Proposals. Reports. Customer intake forms. Pick the one that burns the most hours. Gather 10 to 15 real examples from your existing work. Don't clean them up or edit them. Feed them raw into NotebookLM or Claude, along with your template or standard format. Let the model generate 5 to 10 outputs based on those examples. Test them against your actual standards. Have the model revise. It'll catch patterns in your style and requirements that you didn't explicitly state the first time.

Got an email response from a business owner saying... "we are anti AI" How would you respond?

I don’t think many people understand attention spans. Attention spans are very short and messaging has to come through extremely fast and clear to get the point across. I have conversations with many people who go on and on and on, and on, and on without taking a breath, and at the end of their speech, the recipient has lost the point. Brevity is a skill

Fable 5.1 on ultracode will devour your token spend. Who knew drafting emails cost so many tokens😎

If you use Claude Fable 5.1 on Ultracode effort, it WILL make the investment decisions for you
LLMs are very good at doing first pass market work: size, growth, cyclicality, competition, etc. We are using them on literally every deal we evaluate. And remember, we are getting in over 3,000 deals a year in order to complete 3-4 transactions. As an investor you are actively looking for easy reasons to kill a deal and not spend more time on it. The LLM is not making the investment decision but it is a great way to quickly gather some basic data that will help inform your decision.

Honestly, it's going to be agents buying from agents. Businesses need to be optimized for agents to make decisions for the end user (and even transact if the decision is not critical) example: "find me a good quality but not so pricey padel racket online and order it"

Future of search will be an agent doing this on your behalf
The future of local search might look a lot more like matching than ranking Not Who is the #1 contractor? More like Who is the best contractor for THIS job for THIS homeowner with THIS budget in THIS location? That changes what I want Google to understand about the business

Talent concentration can impact your multiple. If 40 percent of your technical team came through one visa sponsor or region, a buyer may price that as risk. Ever think about that?

Buyers discount deals when one supplier controls your business. Fix it first. • Any single supplier over 20 percent of spend is a red flag. • Test if you can actually switch to backup suppliers in 30 days. • Reduce concentration before selling. The buyer won't discount for risk you fixed.
