BINNEN 1 MINUUT EUROPEES KAMPIOEN 🤯 In 2024 pakte Joanne het zilver, in 2025 moest ze genoegen nemen met brons. A few months after Freud's paper on cocaine appeared, his close collaborator, Karl Koller, discovered the anesthetic use of cocaine. He experimented on himself by applying a cocaine solution to his eye and then pricking his eye with pins. #HistMed

One year later in 1885, American neurologist James Leonard Corning experimented with cocaine on the spinal nerves of a dog when he accidentally pierced the dura mater. He observed a motor block in the hind legs and noticed that it reversed in some time on its own #HistMed
