You don’t need to do the Main Quests in order to access sailing!
Go to Journal > Open Faction Quests > Scroll to the Greymanes Faction Quests > Open Charting The Unknown quest tab & start your journey! By completing the relevant quests!

New Crimson Desert DLC Details:
-There is a significant amount of story-driven content
-Romance is really meaningful
-You can engage with NPCs and marry NPCs with all 3 characters
-DLC story was written by the team that did the "enhanced" writing
-Giant structures and giant encounters underwater
-New storylines for the 3 characters
-Pretty much an epilogue for all 3 characters
-2 entry points in the DLC
-You need to have completed the main storyline to access the story content
-For the open-world content, you don't (you need the camp from chapter 3)
-New weapons
-New armors
-Water exploration is focused on the new area
-Huge waves (ocean feels alive)
-Some awesome vistas
-New Oongka story is a highlight
-You can open up a restaurant
-New conversation trees for NPCs, but not on Baldur's Gate level
-There is no separate underwater layer on the map
