In Cheap Trick history: 4/1/2008 was the first official “Cheap Trick Day” in Illinois. In June 2007, a resolution was sponsored in the Illinois Senate to recognize the band and its achievements, and to declare that every year, April 1st be known as “Cheap Trick Day” in the state.
