ALT Tommy (he/they) is standing next to a sign on the pavement. Tommy is wearing brown square glasses, blue jeans and a dark blue collared jumper with three big white stripes across the middle, and is looking thoughtfully upwards and towards the right. With black and red lettering on a white background, the sign advertises homemade pies with mushy peas, gravy and mint sauce for £3. A few people can be seen bustling among the shops behind the sign. The natural lighting is warm, clear and bright.

ALT On a beige background, a black-and-white photo of Beth is positioned to the top-left behind a blue name badge graphic on the bottom-right, reading "HELLO I'M BETH SITEK". Above the name badge is an illustration of a white sign reading 'THE CREATIVE TEAM', and the graphic title art for the Queen of the North stage show. In the photo, Beth wears a black pinstriped blazer wth a silky shirt and tie, and is looking to the right and slightly smiling.

ALT As part of our new project, The Queen of the North, we are looking for 5 people to join in voice roles to be featured in the show. We are looking for a variety of voices and due to this we are open to hearing from a wide range of people. As a mainly queer and neurodivergent team, we are specially interested in hearing from marginalised groups and from the North East. We are asking that people have some experience of reading scripts as some of the dialogue is a little chunky at times.

ALT DATE OF RECORDING: Wednesday 26th June at ARC, Dovecot street, Stockton-on-Tees, TS18 1LL You will be given a timeslot between 10am till 2pm, however we will work with each individual to make sure they can attend. FEE This will depend on the role but we will pay between £100 - £150 for your participation. We can also offer travel bursaries to help cover some of your travel.

ALT TO APPLY Please record a couple of sentences (it doesn’t have to be anything professional of anything you’d like) just so we can hear your voice and dialect. Please e-mail a CV (or similar to) and the recording to: [email protected] Applications close on Monday 17th June 2024 at 10am. We will then make a shortlist and will be in touch about next steps from there to make sure you're the right fit for the project.
