I was daydreaming about being a famous streamer and answering my chat. Then I realised with 10k people typing, I'd only ever read the super chats. That doesn't feel fair, especially if you're someone like a minister.
So I built MurMur :P
Today we're launching @tryAlanAI so developers can stop babysitting their coding agents.
We kept running into the same problem ourselves.
Even as agents got better at writing code, we were becoming glorified button-pushers for our own AI: starting every run, feeding them context, unblocking failures, and checking their work.
We built Alan to change that.
The hard part was scale. You can't throw 46k messages at an LLM. So messages get grouped with embeddings, and a small local model (Qwen3 4B) only names the groups. Spam, emotes and "op op op" get filtered first, which was 77% of one chat lol
The whole thing runs on my laptop. I'd been putting this idea off for weeks, and the hackathon finally made me build it.

Humility & being grounded are most important qualities a person can have
Tech skills can be learned. But character, humility & how u treat people define u
Half-baked knowledge fuels superiority-complex. The more u learn, the more u realize nothing is too complex to be proud of.

if someone doesn't have access to computers, maybe cybersec research, at least in an undergraduate level is not for them. they can stay here because even if you shower them with NVIDIA B300s and the best computers ever, they will perform worse than someone who has been hacking from a really early age.
im concerned about a whole different demographic (people like me & @datavorous_) but you are hellbent on romanticizing poverty. I have seen JEE destroying technical talent first hand and I'm concerned about it.
At work I argue with my LLM about the approaches, google, stackoverflow, read docs, try out different methods and realize I'm the one who's wrong.
But worth the effort.
Hi people, I spent some time coding an intentionally bad login UI just for fun :)
Try it and LMK!

Got my first domain name and it's my favourite 🥰

Learnt new things entire night, reading, writing silly code, and messing around.
Took a look at: github.com/overmighty/i-use-…
Off to sleep at 8:30 AM💀
Just reading code/docs since last 3-4 days. Not as rewarding, but important to write better software.
Opened Neetcode's sheet after a while and continued where I left of :)
Took about 30 minutes overall for recursive and iterative solution, totally by myself, no videos or any AI. Recursive just took 5 minutes.
Iterative was a lil tricky but Stack saved the day!
Feeling Good!
