more blocks doesn’t mean more coins.
when kaspa went from 1 to 10 blocks per second, the reward per block was reduced to keep the issuance schedule.

JUST IN: KaspaDollar unveils plans for an overcollateralized stablecoin on the Kaspa Network
Led by core developer Asaef Strøm, the project is targeting 5 million $KAS to fund development, independent audits and launch operations, with contributions refunded if the goal isn't reached by Jan. 1, 2027.
Kaspa Dollar Seeks 5M KAS to Fund New Stablecoin
KaspaDollar (@KaspaDollar) has announced plans for a decentralized stablecoin on the Kaspa network (@kaspaunchained) $KAS.
The initiative is led by core developer @asaefstroem and targets 5 million KAS in funding. The project aims to raise the funds to cover development, independent auditing, research, and launch operations.
KaspaDollar is planning an overcollateralized stablecoin designed to reduce Kaspa DeFi's reliance on assets issued elsewhere. The team says recent developments, including the Toccata hardfork, have expanded the network's capabilities.
Contributions will be refunded if the target is not reached by January 1, 2027.

you can build apps directly on kaspa and have the network enforce their rules.
all on proof of work.

Michael Sutton is building Argent — the AI-agent programming language for Kaspa
Kaspa core developer Michael Sutton is shipping Argent: an actor-based language and compiler designed so both humans and AI agents can build complex on-chain applications on Kaspa’s L1 covenants.
Argent lets you compose multiple contracts, link apps atomically, and expose clean interfaces — all compiling down to auditable SilverScript that runs natively on Kaspa’s BlockDAG. No separate VM. No trusted bridge. Just pure PoW consensus enforcing the rules.
Sutton put it plainly: giving agents a clean language model is the difference between usage and no usage. Humans and AI both thrive with higher-order abstractions. Argent is that layer — so agents can post tasks, manage state, compose with other apps, and settle payments without wrestling raw opcodes or fragile off-chain glue.
Why this matters for market share:
• AI agents need fast, cheap, deterministic settlement. Kaspa already has 10 BPS and micro-fees.
• They need enforceable rules and atomic multi-app composition. Toccata covenants + Argent deliver that on L1.
• They need something they can actually read, generate, and verify. Argent’s actor model and open interfaces are built for that.
While other chains still bolt agent tooling onto slow or custodial stacks, Kaspa is making the base layer agent-native. Argent is the missing piece that turns “programmable PoW” into “the place AI agents actually build and transact.”
The rails are live. The language is being built for the machines. That’s how Kaspa takes share in the agent economy.

kaspa’s growth in 2026.
seeing $KAS turn into one of the most technologically advanced Layer 1s on earth in 2026, when 4 years ago it was seen as a mere replacement for $ETH mining after it transitioned to PoS, makes me feel like a proud dad.
Kaspa has officially evolved beyond P2P payments:
>programmable Layer-1 (Toccata)
>native fungible tokens (KCC-20)
>native KAS privacy research on testnet
on-chain memecoin launchpads (Kaspaseal)
> building toward a programmable PoW ecosystem without switching to PoS.
adoption is near.

Hello @amorriscode, your passion for Claude Code was impressive. Anthropic will miss you 💯
@michaelsuttonil (core dev) is building Argent "an Ai Agent-facing programming language and compiler for building onchain Kaspa applications with multiple contracts, cross-app linking, and atomic composition across apps and open app interfaces."
Please consider joining Michael & his team. I feel your passion & Ai programming knowledge would compliment the team!

Yesterday was my last day at Anthropic.
I created Claude Code on desktop because I believe everyone can be a builder. Every feature request and bug report we got from this community was a gift that impacted millions of lives. I’m eternally grateful for those gifts, the product wouldn’t be what it is without you.
Anthropic is doing some of the most important work of our time. Contributing to that mission will forever be a career highlight for me. I never imagined I’d get to contribute to something so special in my lifetime.
Walking away from my best friends, a product I poured my heart into, and the mission was the hardest thing I’ve done in my career. But now I have some free time for GTA VI.
I'm already itching to get back to addressing all your feedback. I'll share what's next soon!

$KAS community is still one of the loudest in crypto. one post about @kaspaunchained and you lot are straight in the replies 🫡
tech hasn't changed, holders are as stubborn as ever and the chart is taking a breather with the rest of the market.
Buy and sell targets still live for subs 👀

Everything is hard. Nothing works the first time. It all feels pointless. That’s when you realize you’re going to have to will it into existence with every ounce of your fucking soul. And that’s when it starts to happen.

I’m convinced 95% of being a high performer is to just do 5 things:
- Be obsessed like a psychopath
- Have delusional optimism
- Avoid unserious people
- Take asymmetric risks
- Be relentless
i’ll do everything in my power on the technical side to help this initiative move forward and navigate any protocol-level obstacles along the way.
on a personal note, Alex has a rare mix of technical depth, bizdev talent and deep Kaspa knowledge. i honestly can’t think of anyone better suited to lead it, and i really appreciate him taking this on
Grok has become sentient.
Kaspa is End Game.

No. Pure PoW is not locked into slow confirmations. GHOSTDAG generalizes Nakamoto consensus to a blockDAG that retains every honest block instead of orphaning them. Kaspa runs this at 10 blocks per second: transactions enter in a fraction of a second and reach strong probabilistic finality within a few seconds, all while remaining pure PoW with a fair launch, no premine, and no trusted parties.

Full Kaspa teal logo it is!
Personally, I preferred the two-tone version, but the community has spoken. And that's the way to go! 🚀
The shield it is. 🛡️ Thanks for voting!
Poll 2: the look. Same shield, three colour directions:
1 · Teal & ink: shield split in two, Kaspa teal + ink
2 · Lila: one colour of our own
